I am filing a complaint against Allied Fire and Safety for their ongoing inadequate service and unprofessional behavior at our preschool, Dahlia *********** Despite repeated fire alarm issues, which have been going on for over a year, no real solution has been provided, and the company continues to charge $250 for each service visit. The explanations for the alarms have ranged from faulty heads, dust, and, most recently, spiders, yet none of these have resolved the problem.During a recent visit from the fire department, they inspected the fire alarm head and found no spiders or webs inside, which contradicts Allieds claim that spiders were the cause of the alarms. Allied also told me they had cleaned all the detectors in the foyer; however, this is untrue. When their technician visited during pickup time, three employees were in the foyer, and the technician did not touch any detectors in that area. He only worked on the basement detectors.Additionally, Allied dispatched a team without our request during one incident and charged us the $250 fee regardless. When I spoke with ***** ******** about this, he was dismissive and condescending, stating that the issue was due to "spider mating season" and that we should just deal with it for another month. He has also made inappropriate remarks, such as "no one forced you to sign a contract" and "it's not our fault you can't pay your bill."I am currently managing the school under difficult circumstances, as my co-director recently passed away. The constant false alarms have been highly disruptive and are causing significant emotional distress for the young children in our care. I request that Allied Fire and Safety take responsibility for their failure to provide proper service and offer a permanent solution without further unnecessary charges.
