    I scheduled and appointment for a physical for 9/24/24. I was seen by the provider for 5 minutes. When I left I checked in at the front desk and they said I didn't have a copay because it was a physical which is covered 100% by my insurance **** ***** **** ******. I then started getting bills via text for $360 about 2 months after my appointment. I called the office and they sent me to billing who said it wasn't a physical because I discussed a medical condition with the provider. They billed me the full amount of the visit because they billed my insurance company for a "new PCP consult" which is not covered by insurance. I did not have a new PCP consult, I had a physical and that is what I scheduled the appointment for. I also purposely waited 1 year from my previous physical at my old providers office to be sure it was paid by my insurance. I have called billing numerous times about this and Rye C who is the agent I have spoken with at least twice assured me, I give you my word she said, that the bills would be suppressed and I would not be sent to collections. Well of course that didn't happen and now I have been contacted by **** debt collection company for the $360. If this can't be deemed a physical because I discussed a medical condition that I was asked about then it should be billed as a sick visit and my insurance would happily pay and I can pay my copay.

    I went for treatment on March 2023 and received bill in the mail a year later on May 2024. I called and was told this was in collections and there was another outstanding balance. I was never called from the company or collections. I never received these bills or calls from anyone stating these were outstanding. I reached out yesterday and was told to call back today. I went online I see a new balance but no statements or history.
