    Concerns with the office charges for dental cleaning.First of all, allow me to say that I do not have any issues with Dr. ***** (Central Jersey Periodontics & Implants) as a periodontist, nor do I have any issues with his hygienist. My issue is regarding the billing department and the charges that you will receive after the procedure (in my case cleaning of ONLY BOTTOM teeth) is done.I told the hygienist before the cleaning that only bottom teeth need to be cleaned, as I have all implants bridge on the top. The hygienist noted that on the chart, and, as instructed, only cleaned the bottom teeth. Imagine my surprise when I received the bill for a total cleaning, top and bottom. I spoke to ***** in the billing **** who informed me that the office has a set price for cleaning, regardless of how many teeth are cleaned. They do not prorate the price. I informed her that I was never informed of this policy, to which she said that it didnt matter, the price remains the same. I then asked to speak with Dr. ****** and was told that doctor doesnt do the billing (in case Dr. ***** reads this post). Well, Dr. ****** I hate to inform you, but you are losing a patient, because I refuse to pay for work not done.
