    Hired "Electrical Man" (whose name is Carlos) only because he was one of the few electricians servicing my area in Newark. After almost six months, the job is still not completed. (This was a residential addition on an existing home, so not brain surgery.) "Electrical Man" failed 2 electrical inspections, one of which was almost 4 months ago and he has not returned to finish the work despite repeated attempts to get him to do so. "Electrical Man" did not show up for either inspection, but called in by phone the second time. The electrical inspector literally asked him over the phone if he was a licensed electrician with what sounded to me like a tone of disbelief in his voice.

    Carlos is actually not local to Newark. He lives somewhere in PA. Maybe that is why he never came back to finish the job. Or maybe he just realized he didn't actually have the skills to actually do a simple job to code.
