    3 of us had a reservation to stay here at the Newark location for one night, August 19th. Upon check in staff was on a personal phone call. We checked in and dropped our stuff in the room then left to go to a soccer game nearby. When we got back and settled for the night we noticed bed bugs on the queen mattress. We called down to front desk and they said someone will be up shortly to check it out. 2 house keepers maybe came in and changed the top sheet and the duvet, they did nothing else. One member of our group went back down to front desk to see if we could be moved to another room and was told they were completely booked. He came back to the room to discuss what we wanted to do and we decided to leave instead of stay in an infested room. He went back down to the front desk and asked for a refund which they did. Having experience in hospitality, only changing the sheets is totally unacceptable. We bagged up our belongings and left. I just want them to be made aware that their staff are not taking bed bugs seriously.
