    Unfortunately the work ***pleted did cannot be remediated. I have had several contractors and a structural engineer ***plete an assessment of your work and all agree and are ***pleting a report of the issues, a topography and will testify to the incorrect work ***pleted to date. If you don’t return the $5,000 deposit paid to date and $3,500 I have to pay to have your work demolished and removed, you will receive a lawsuit from my attorney. This has been a very stressful and costly situation caused by your in***petent workmanship.

    The following are issues with the construction of the existing wall at the above address:

    1. The wall is not set on the proper base. The base should be a minimum of 8-12:.0f ¾" gravel with a geotextile fabric over the subgrade.
    2. The bottom course of block is not buried below grade.
    3. The inside core of the block is not filled with any gravel. It should be filled with¾" gravel.
    4. There is not Geogrid reinforcement in the wall.
    5. The wall has no drain behind it.
    6. The wall has not gravel backfill behind it.
    7. All the blocks are glued together. You don't glue interlocking blocks together. The only block that gets glued is the corner units and the cap units.
