      This incident occurred on the evening of 11/29/24. This is a parking garage, and the employees gave my keys away to a random person, stranding me in downtown ***. Apparently the best solution was to have the random person drive our keys back. We were originally told it would be 30 minutes until our keys arrived, now it has been over an hour and still no end in site. This location is disorganized and the employees are rude, no one seemed eager to help find a solution to their error.

      I am in receipt of the complaint (see attached) dated November 29, 2024, and filed with the BBB by *** *******, concerning the loss of their keys and rude behavior by the staff at our garage located at **************************************************

       

      Edison ParkFast takes customer service very seriously and Mr. ******* has been contacted by the Location Manager, and the Regional Vice President of Operations.

       

      Concerning the misplaced keys, we had a new attendant on duty, and we suspect that the keys fell out of his pocket. We used our video surveillance to locate the car suspected of having the keys. Once we determined who it was and confirmed that they did have the keys, we made arrangements for the keys to be brought back. I can fully understand Mr. ******* being upset as he expected his property to be protected while in our care. Although the incident took longer than anyone would have liked, I assure you that we did everything possible to expedite the process. When contacted by the location Manager, Mr. ******* was offered a full refund which he stated he did not want.

       

      Mr. ******* told the manager that he just wanted to ensure that the rudeness by our employees was properly addressed. Although I cannot share any action taken against our employees, I can say that the entire incident was reviewed by management and several employees were addressed. The manager investigated the claim by interviewing employees and reviewing camera footage. After we received this claim from the BBB, 11 days after the incident, I personally attempted to contact Mr. ******* but was unable to connect with him. I left a message but did not get a call back.

       

      We believe this incident has been sufficiently investigated and that the customer was offered compensation which he did not want. We believe this case should be closed.
