    So i Blackwell Dermatology on may 11th to schedule an appointment with the dermatologist for June 11th. Once I arrived i waited for about 30 minutes which wasn't the issue at all i had an error where my referral wasn't processed due to my doctor. So as I waited the staff kept reminding me that the dermatologist wants to make sure he gets paid prior to even seeing me which is highly unprofessional. So after my referral was processed, there was still an issue with the staff telling me that the dermatologist doesn't want to see me due to my referral. I've never had to experience this before with any establishment so I'm not sure if this was a discrimination issue or what, but I have an illness that's been spreading all over my body and the dermatologist couldn't even be considerate enough to meet my needs as a patient. This is totally unacceptable.

    To whom it may concern,

          The complainant clearly states that he had an error in his referral. We at Blackwell dermatology abide the rules dictated by the insurance company to insure that all information necessary for a proper referral are obtained prior to patient consultation. My staff made Herculean effort to obtain all this information for Mr ****** on the day of his appointment but to no avail. By appropriately acquiring the needed documents this protects both the patient and the provider from any potential financial hardships. During my almost 30 years of my practice my number one priority has been focused on patient care , I have offered many free clinics and pro ********** Additionally, Blackwell dermatology would never discriminated based on race, gender, religious affiliations. This insinuation is very insulting and an obvious oversight on Mr ****** lack of knowledge regarding my professional reputation. Lastly, Blackwell dermatology does not appreciate the threatening voicemail regarding potential legal action or the unilateral on line bashing of our organization.
