    I recently took my boyfriend's truck to get an oil change. Truck was starting fine before the oil change. I was sitting in the waiting room and heard a loud noise it was them slamming the hood down on truck even the customer in the waiting room was shocked. I got up to look and all the techs were standing there looking at the truck. The truck won't start ( I had to ask what was wrong no one offered info) They are underneath it banging on stuff, shiny flashlights looking for a wire that might have come off, one was trying to jump it, another was playing with the fuses. Long story short I had to get it towed. They rolled the truck out of the bay 4 ft from the curb making it almost impossible for the tow truck driver to get it. They needed to get those 4-6 oil changes in before they closed up and left me there. One tech came upto me and said there was a wire hanging off it so he put it bk on. It ended up being a shorted out starter. The wire that he put back on was connect wrong. Manager said it has nothing to do with it not starting. I called and told them this and they are saying it was a wire to control the transmission linkage (that cable is on the dashboard in a panel) Manager told me he disagrees not their fault. Don't go there!!!

    We performed an oil change on this vehicle. Vehicle started & ran after oil change. After closing the hood, the vehicle would not start. After unsuccessfully trying to jump start. We told the customer it would not start, we are not a repair ***** ***** needed to have it towed. Then the vehicle would not go into neutral for us to roll. Upon further review, we noticed that the Gearshift Control Cable (part# ********AA) was disconnected from the transmission. After reconnecting the cable. The truck shifted into neutral & we were able to roll it out in front of our garage to be towed. Customer stated that mechanic told her a wire became disconnected from the starter when we closed the hood. We do not feel we are responsible for the starter since we did not perform any service on that part. Also, none of the work we did perform on the truck was anywhere near the starter.
