      This company should be avoided at all costs. If you are using a moving broker and they use this company, stay clear and ask for your broker to use a more reputable mover. Several issues:1. Inaccurate measurements made onsite. Cubic feet is measure by length, width and height. They refused to take into consideration height and packed the truck up (but didn't stack one item on another). How does that make sense? Why would I pay for air? ****** refused to let me come onto the truck to see how he was packing items due to "you don't have insurance"2. Contract noted that I could pay either with credit or check. They demanded cash on hand resulting in me paying 50% of the amount in cash. 3. Nonsense fees added last minute. I was charged an elevator fee and a long carry fee (~$400) for both pickup and delivery. I was forced to ***** the money to the owners personal account. 4. Two damaged items - a $2000 couch and a bedframe. Company provided me a third party claims department (movingclaims.net) and they noted they do not work with the company since they are past due on their bills. The owner then noted he would pay me ~100 bucks for the damages (or 60 cents per pound that the sofa weighed). Avoid them at all cost. These are not ethical movers and will haggle you for any extra fees they can and then will not properly transport your items.

      Your assessment of the cubic footage is inaccurate. Height was taken into consideration. Because the truck is used for multiple moves at time, our movers evaluate whether or not certain boxes can hold the weight of others through stacking. Oftentimes, this is not the case as boxes may be fragile or light, and could become crushed/damaged as a result of stacking. These packing arrangements on the truck are determined by item safety, and while you would not be charged the remaining height of the truck to the tallest box on the floor in cubic footage, we would account for a small amount of the space above any unstacked items as it still occupies truck space which would otherwise have been used. Our movers have combined decades of experience, and we trust them to organize our truck space in an effective yet cautious manner. As such, no client is allowed onto the bed of the truck as it does create a liability.  
      With regards to payment, the methods were communicated to you prior to the crews arrival. Additionally, you had signed our paperwork indicating your agreement to the balance amount and payment method prior to the moving taking place. On the matter of fees, all of our charges are listed on our service paperwork and are completely standard and conventional for moving carriers. Long carries come at the expense of customer and company time, as well as creating considerable physical work for our crew, especially considering the distance in your case. 
      Finally, there had been a transactional error between us and the claims company, however as of the day prior, this has been resolved and our business with them has resumed as usual. Please try again to file your claim at your earliest convenience.

      4/30 Movers arrived and went over contract explained where I may incur extra costs and explained cubic sq ft - which was originally glossed over (and I want a copy of my phone called)and while I finished up the movers kept saying I can get that and that. Assuming they were only working with the allotted 280 cubic sq ft. When all is said and done I had 600 cubic sq ft. When I looked at the truck everything was placed next to one another not using any of the height. Height which is used to calculate cubic square feet. Why am I paying for air that isnt being taken advantage. I asked why to the mover he said my truck my rules. They took off 100cubic square feet but I shouldnt have had to be put in this position. It felt gangsters and a stick up. I was alone and my things now not my things because this man wouldnt reason to listen and never checked in to say hey we are about to go over. The man on the phone said it was plenty of room for a studio but he also told me it was white glove service where items would be dismantled. My bed and my my mattress I wanted to leave and toss the mover convinced me he could take it. I called s d emailed several times. No answers Im now financially in a bad way and cant afford to get my things. And now Ill just owe more and more and more. Its a nightmare. They took advantage of someone reeling with grief and made an already stressful situation worse. This company should be shut down and there needs to be some accountability. There business practices are bait switch snd predatory. I was quoted around $2000 which I had explained explicitly was around this amount and was guaranteed that would work. I ended up paying over $1800 more and havent been able to find an apt because I didnt have enough$$$ and Ive been living in an air bnb and moving like a nomad.
