My daughter had to move out of the apartment because she couldn't afford the place after living there only about 4.5 months. Part of the lease was she had to pay penalty of 2 extra months of rent which was $3760 so she can break the lease. I made the payment for her and she moved out. We cleaned the place and took pics. After couple of weeks we received part of the Security Deposit. They subtract $50 because in the closet was a black shoe ***** I think is unacceptable and they will do whatever to keep the money. I will like them to reimburse me the $50.

Hi,One of the women that live at **** was yelling at me about something with her dog like "yeah my dog's name is xyz, yeah I'm talking to you..." I've never said anything about their dog or anything. These people have been nothing but a hassle since they moved in. Between the almost dozen complaints thus far about them up to and including verbal abuse of their kids and now they're yelling at me over I don't know what. This sketchy unstable nonsense with them has to stop.I emailed this to the leasing office but they never reply to my emails, like, literally ever. So I'm sending this to corporate so something is actually done. I can be reached on this matter via email.

Hi,This is not the first time I have complained to Larken Associates' corporate office about the lack of communication at ***********************. The first time was a year or so ago when they sent out VERY derogatorily written letters hung from everyone's door in front of building three about paving that ended up not even happening (happened this past summer instead). Leasing office was not responding to questions. I complained to corporate and corporate mentioned they would reply to me, they did not reply. This most recent time, I missed sending January rent by TEN MINUTES, the first time a payment of mine has been late (again, by ten minutes). I emailed the leasing office and simply got a response with "the system shows this sent after midnight." I replied saying something to the effect of I have been busy with work and holidays and it slipped my mind, am I really paying $135 for ten minutes? I did not get a response. This weekend, I went to submit payment for February's rent and still see this late fee on there. $135 for ten minutes of missing a deadline, around the holidays, is absolutely unfair, especially being that I have not missed one payment yet. These communication issues with the leasing office need to be fixed. They have been a problem since I moved here in 2020 and they are not getting better, despite my calling them out.I need someone to contact me about this late fee and get this removed. And these lack of communication issues with the leasing office need to be addressed sooner than later because this is not improving despite my messages to corporate.
