    All the paint is flaking off the vehicle due to a fault of GM.

    The vehicle has a corrosion warranty and paint warranty. These are directly from ************** and coverage of the repair would be approved and paid for by **************. The vehicle must still be inside the warranty period for the above to occur. If the customer brings the vehicle in to our service facility , we will inspect and file a claim to reimburse and repair.

    I am rejecting this response because:I phoned Gold Coast (on Monday the 25 of Nov)to speak with someone to set up a appointment to bring the vehicle (to them) to inspect and advise me. After explaining every thing to the receptionist, she said she would give the message to he service manager and have him/her call me back that day.That was Monday it is now Wednesday.I have been e mailing them for years to have this problem solved and they do nothing. In the meantime the paint keeps flaking off the car.Its clearly a defect.

    Used car/cpo purchase for $71995.00 the car was not serviced and the miles on the bill of sale match the miles on the cpo peparwork. The 2nd day of owning the car starts to have problems and could not have it serviced or look it at by the dealership.

    Gold Coast Cadillac has been doing engine and exhaust work on my 2010 Cadillac truck for 3years now and what they claim is fix is still on going and now worst then before. I have been taking it back and forth so they can fix it correctly. Spent ***** and my car still having same problem for what I brought to them. As of 8/28/23 diagnostic test was done test results shows timing belt and exhaust still have and issue. So the engine work and engine what I paid them to fix WASNT!!!! Please help me to resolve this matter. I want my car fixed no more Excuses from the dealership. Give me back my ***** or have another dealership to fix my car. I have been patient and nice but they took advantage of my kindness and lack of acknowledgement of cars. They payed me. Thank You! Please help me. Legal Action will be taken on my next steps.

    I have researched the history and repairs to ******* and ********************************* 2010 SRX. The first repair (repair order #****** - factory recall was performed to properly torque the rear toe link). This repair is in no way related to the engine. 

    The next visit was 4/16/21. The repair order# ****** was for a complaint of "no start". The repairs needed were a fuel pump and a timing chain replacement. The diagnostics, parts, sealant, filter, oil, and labor (plus sales tax) totaled $3769.99. The condition that the needed repairs caused, have not returned since this repair. 

    The third visit was 8/22 and ***** miles later. The Repair order number# ***** was to replace a bad solenoid and fix a window that "gets stuck". This repair was performed and resolved the condition of "hesitation" when accelerating. The window was fixed and operational when picked up by customer. Neither of these two issues have resurfaced as issues in subsequent visits. 

    The next visit was 3/23. The repair order# is *****. The condition the customer stated was the "stabilitrack" light was on and when it came on the car would "Buck". The customer also mentioned their catalytic converter was subject of an attempted theft. It needed repair or replacement and was suggested by the advisor. The catalytic converter on the vehicle was "aftermarket". Damage had been done to the catalytic converter when the attempted theft occurred. The customer declined the repairs originally. 

    The last visit was R.O.# ***** on 7/23. The customer asked that we do the exhaust leak repair suggested on the previous visit. We did so to the best of our ability. It is an aftermarket catalytic converter. 

    The repairs we performed were all needed and represented properly at the time. Each of them was performed and resolved the complaint/issue. The customer bought a very high mileage vehicle that is also 13 years old. Repair work, malfunctions, and maintenance will be needed from time to time. The repairs (again) were not related to each other and each repair resolved the issue at the time. The customer drove several thousand to as many as ***** miles and 13 months between issues. 

    I believe we handled this customer and issues in an above board manor.
