  **** Palin Marble and Tile Restoration Pending Review 08-23-24 Review: After reading **** Palin's reviews, I thought I was going to get a professional job. **** himself did not come to do the job, so he sent another man who was NOT a professional Tile contractor. The job was done terribly, there were gaps not grouted and very messy. I called **** and asked him to come look at the job and explained there were bubbles in the grout, he said that was a "***** *****" used which I never discussed or was told he would use. The bead of caulking around the bottom was as sloppy as I have ever seen. I took photos of all the areas I am describing, so there is not doubt what I am explaining isn't at all exaggerated. I was charged $500.00 and paid **** **** and wasn't given a receipt. When I spoke to him, he told me if I wanted him to come fix what was done, he told me it would cost me another $150.. I was very upset with him and I spent 6 hours fixing the job that I paid to have done correctly. I left a text with photos and a voice message, but never heard back from. I asked for even a 50% reimbursement that I thought would be fair since I had to purchase supplies from **********. **** didn't even have the decency to return my call. WORD OF ADVICE: STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY AND ***** I decided to hired **** because of all the good ratings, but I know now, these ratings must have been falsely placed by friends and relatives.

  This is a response to a letter I received on Tuesday about a complaint of work performed Mr *********** The job detailed cleaning a 

  Neglected shower tile and grout and caulking. Half way through the job he told me the job looked great and was happy with how it was coming out.

  When I got done he thanked me offered me water we talked outside about cars and paid me. I also told him that he cannot use the shower for 24 hours everything has to dry. He called me back about an hour later and told me that his wife was in there with a spotlight looking at what we did.I told him it has to dry but he wasn't hearing anything of that. I told him that if his wife has the final say why she wasn't there when we were done to look at it 

  And i could have fixed it then. He told me he wanted me to come back and do the job over. I told him i would have to charge him not the same price 

  Alot less to try to make him happy but the whole job didn"t have to be redone. I don't understand an hour earlier he loved it then he wanted redone.

  My reputation is important to me I am willing to resolve the situation with him if he is willing to do so life is too short as i have other things im
