On 3/1/2023, I contracted with Shore Customs for the installation of a BlackVue (BV) 2-channel dashcam, LTE cloud module, and 2 backup (BU) batteries on my 2015 Nissan Rogue (Exhibit 1). The contract was for $412.64 (Exh. 1) and this was paid in full on the same day (Exh. 1). All the equipment was customer-supplied, so the price was for the labor only. (Exh. 1) The contract included a promise that “all installation is guaranteed” (Exh. 1, bottom).

After I experienced numerous car battery problems, I contacted Shore Customs on 10/3/2023 and told them my car battery problems were linked to their 3/1/23 electrical wiring job. Shore Customs gave me an 10/9/2023 appointment (Exhs. 2A-2C) to bring my car to their shop to get it fixed. I kept the appointment but they failed to fix the problem.

That 10/9/23 appointment was followed by a 11/9/23 appointment (Exhs. 3A-3C) which I also kept, but they again failed to fix the problem.

I received a 3rd appointment for 2/19/2024 (Exhs. 4A-4C), which I also kept. However, Shore Customs failed to fix the problem or, as I later discovered, even to look at the car at all.

When I complained to Mr. Scott G.  store owner and principal, by midday on that last 2/19/2025 appointment that my car was not being looked at for a 3rd time despite my showing up as agreed to their shop at opening time in all 3 occasions, I was “shown the door”.

I am asking my $412.64 payment be returned, together with the money I spent in certified letters to them ($26.34), plus my 3½ days of lost wages (@$474.71/day = $1,661.48). Total $2,100.46.

I have been in the process of getting my windows sunscreened through the ** *** where the *** only allows certain approved businesses to apply the sunscreening. I went to one of the approved places, Shore Customs, and got my front side windows sunscreened August 8, 2022 with no issues. We discussed the windshield next (as per my paperwork and prescription) and I made sure to ask if there would be any issues with any sensors or anything since I hear it is a common issue when people get windshields done with the newer make cars (due to the place not putting down towels for water leakage or what not) and I was reassured there would be no issue. We made my windshield appointment for August 18, 2022 which is today. Upon paying when Shore Customs were done, we paid and then waited an hour because they could not get my car started. They replaced my key fob battery and said it was that. Ok fine. So I drove home. I tried leaving my house maybe an hour after coming home and my car wouldnt start. Knowing this issue LITERALLY just happened for the first time at Shore Customs where they fixed it, I called them. Manager kept repeating "it's the key fob" until he eventually repeated it and must have been corrected by someone else working there who told him they did just replace my battery, I guess he didn't believe me until someone at the shop verified it. So I tried explaining it cant be the battery, then he changes to "it's a common ***** problem. Do you have AAA?" No I do not have AAA. I was doing everything he told me to do that he did at the shop that got it to work, but it is still not working. I try explaining to him how I made sure to ask to verify there would be no issues with the sensors or the car and was told there would be no issues, and yet clearly there is an issue and he really did not seem to care or want to take responsibility at all. Even for the fact it COULD be their fault. I should have been warned of possible car risks if there are some involved
