I am writing this for my father ******* d. ********. My name is *******. My parents went on vacation overseas in July and planned to be back on September 26th. During this time my father put a hold on membership to the **** to resume October 1st. Well my father fell very ill where I had to take a one way to ******** on September 18th since I didn't know what was going on. Long story short, I only came back October 3rd and he only came back October 17th which once he was back had to be seen by multiple doctors. We didn't realize and to be honest was the last thing on our minds that we had this still active until got the bill a couple weeks later. We cancelled as of December and got the credit for December but due to illness and medical issues were asking for the refund for October and November. We have proof that he was away he was sick and he just had alot going on. He still doesn't have a final diagnosis but better maintained thank god. This was an emergency, not just because he was dissatisfied or just doesn't want to pay. I would of expected them to give a credit as once he is cleared to go back he will but the way the director is telling is no is disheartening because they wouldn't like if their father was in the same boat. He was fighting for his life that was our least priority. Thank you for your time.

Membership holds are limited to 3 months per year for non-medical reasons, and will automatically restart at the end of the 3 months, which is signed off on at time of placing the membership on hold. Our membership director, ****** *****, has reached out, and spoken with Mr. ********** daughter, who was able to supply him with a copy of a doctor's note showing a medically necessity for him not to return. He has refunded the disputed membership charge.
