I bought 50 hours of French Tutoring from Language Trainers Australia, (ID******). It was for my Son *******. I paid the total fee of $1775.(final installment was made 16th Aug). *******'s Tutor was Bruno, but he wa,s unreliable and failed to show-up for two lessons (22nd July and 6th Aug). Bruno also showed little teaching skill, providing no course material and no structured method or reviewing. ******* had 9 hours of lessons with Bruno in total and made no progress. I raised this with the Course Coordinator Len Q******. Len offered a new Tutor, Aline. However, Aline also failed to show for the first scheduled lesson (20th Aug) and also lacked professional teaching skills. Aline did provide course material but She went through it at a too fast pace with little revision/re-enforcement, and when my Son made mistakes Aline became increasingly sharp and curt with him. He began to dread the lessons and did not want to continue. In total ******* had 14 hours of lessons and yet made little progress. We are very disappointed. The Tutors we had were not to the standard which Language Trainers advertises. Out Tutors were unreliable and unprofessional. I have asked Len Q****** for a refund for the remaining lessons but have received nothing as yet.

Language trainers is an online language learning company. I approached language trainers for them to find me a local Arabic trainer for in person lessons. They required me to pay for my entire course upfront, after I paid the tuition, they went silent until I reached out to them inquiring about the status of a trainer. I was told I would be provided with a trainer profile, which I still have not been given. They assured me they already had a person lined up, but later told me they did not have anyone because the person had to cancel. They have had 3 weeks and still have not found a language trainer for me. They offered me online training instead which I denied. The course coordinator told me today (5/4/2023) on the phone that they dont have a trainer for me. I want to be refunded for lack of services rendered. They claim I am cancelling my contract which penalizes me $500. But they are the ones who are unable to supply a qualified trainer. Now I feel like they are ignoring me and trying to find an underqualified trainer just so they can keep my $500.

Dear ****, I am so sorry things didn't work out this time with your Arabic trainer, we tried so hard to make this happen, we were so close with several trainers who ended up not being able to commit in the end. My Accounts team tell me your full refund was processed today.
I wish you every success with your language learning journey. If you would like ** to keep looking for a trainer anyway, please let ** know through the usual channels, there is absolutely no commitment on your part, but we can try and you could do a free taster ****** with the trainer. Wishing you a good weekend.
