    I believe ShopRite stores of ********** **, specific to Bergen County are guilty of PRICE GOUGING and taking advantage of alleged Inflation related company costs. 1. A 6-pack of Ensure Plus Nutrional Supplement purchased 6/24/23 at ShopRite **** ** cost $12.49. The exact same product purchased 6/29/23 at ShopRite Paramus ** cost $13.89 2. ShopRite private label brand Bowl&Basket 12 packs of flavored ******* priced at $3.69 per 12 pack disappeared from shelves 60 days ago and reappeared as 8-packs priced at $3.29 (purchased 6/29/23)3. ShopRite / Wakefern private label products, renamed ************* and Paper Bird have been repackaged, at reduced size quantities and sold at increased prices with no apparent product upgrade or improvements. In my opinion ShopRite has passed the re-branding costs to consumers while supplying smaller quantities at increased cost. 4. Ecological laws prohibiting supermarkets from supplying disposable/single use plastic and paper bags has substantially REDUCED company expense while INCREASING corporate profits through sales of private-label, store brand reusable shopping bags ShopRite pockets this Savings/Profits at their sole benefit while Consistently and Steadily INCREASING food and related grocery product COSTS at too rapid and high a rate, in my opinion to fairly reflect economic and alleged supply chain market conditions.IN MY OPINION SHOPRITE STORES OF NORTH EAST ** ARE TAKING UNFAIR ADVANTAGE OF CONSUMERS BY PRICE GOUGING TO INCREASE THEIR CORPORATE BENEFITS - UNFAIRLY DISADVANTAGING CONSUMERS IN NEED OF LIFE-SUSTAINING MERCHANDISE PURELY BECAUSE THEY CAN!!
