date of transaction: 7/27/24 cost: $1040.68 issue at hand: my car was towed from a no tow signed lot on 7/11/24 I called the lot owner which was the ****** ** ********** who had no information of my car being towed and had no history of calling in a tow for my car The business of Ajaco towing as told to me by the ********** Police department is known to scan the area for cars that are parked longer than average After no assistance from the ****** to find my towed car I had ********** police help me find it at Ajaco towing who charged me 1000+ dollars for a tow and hold that they would/could not tell me who or why my car was ever taken in the first place and that i was not able to get it back unless I paid their 1040 dollar charge. I feel I have been slighted by this company as they cannot provide me with a reason as to why they possessed my car or why a 16 day holding had a charge priced at 815 dollars.

We received a call from the property manager at the ****** *** stating that the vehicle was abandoned in the front parking lot for weeks.  We retrieved the vehicle on July 11th and didn't hear from the owner until July 27th.  The tow fee is $225.00 and the storage is 45.00 a day with 6.625% sales tax on the storage only.  The storage alone was $815.68. It is against the law to police any lots.  We only tow when the property manager calls us and give us a code.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
On the day of picking up my vehicle from the tow lot they declined to tell me who had called in for my car to be towed, I assumed if anybody it would have been the ****** but this information was kept from me. Earlier that week I had also made multiple calls to the ****** to attempt to locate my car and they also had no information for me since they did not have a history of calling the tow company. Somebody here has lied to me and I feel aggressively slighted by it as well have lost over a thousand dollars over this.

      Regards,

      ******* ******

The customer was told multiple times that the owner of the property called to have the car removed.  We do not remove any vehicles unless authorized by the property owner or the mgmt department of the hotel.  We are not allowed to give out our customers information.  That is something that is done on your end.  If the car wasn't stolen, why was it parked there and left there for days? We already know that you contacted the management office of the ****** Inn to find out who towed the car. Who left the car in the front of the building without staying at the hotel? You already stated that the car wasn't stolen.  Plus we were told it was there for over a week with no contact from anyone.
