    Ruben entered our community which is a new construction advertising his business to finish basements for an affordable price and quickly. We gave him approximately ****** in total. 6000 dollars in March 2024. 2000 in 5/28/24, 2000 in 9/5/2024. He barely showed up and when confronted always complained about not having enough people or delayed the work. He finished framing in March 2024 and took extra deposits promising to show up and complete the work but never did. After months of no communication and delay of work we decided to end his involvement in November 2024 with the project. I would like a partial/full refund back for the work he did as he did not do it properly and had me spending more money to finish the project he barely started.

    Ruben took a deposit of $5500 and never bought materials or did any work. He is a scam artist and also took money from more than a dozen neighbors and subcontractors.

    I searched a reliable business online, found R&S was good with BBB rated on 2021.I contacted ***** for my house framing job signed contract agreement and paid 5000 for ***** filled application for permit, ***** requested 5000 more for initial application ( I paid all fees application and permits around 4000 )I paid another 5000 on May 2021 Since then, ***** told no contractors ready, town hall wont approve it This no ready that no readytil June 12, 2023 I received official approval from town hall **** June 2023 to May 2024 ***** took my $13,750.00 Only framed partial of storage room in basement cost materials 600 labor 1000 Never come for rest of job 1 flr up I contacted ***** a number of times ***** breached contract Owed me $12,150.00 I went online saw R and S isnt rated in BBB anymore Its not good business I gonna need my money back or continue work my house June 2023 til now May 2024 I paid two season more property tax and utilities in empty houses ***** dont come work Framing is not done Rest of contractors cant start working Plumber HVAC electrician are all waiting I gonna request more money from ***** Pay back more money that I paid for tax and utilities I paid 3750 for permit was only good for one year Now I gonna request ***** pay for permit money Dont send my address to public To be confidential to my address and personal information Ill send lot more details via your email If you can provide your email address
