  This is an awful company. DO NOT USE THEM to move your household goods. They forced us to pay several thousand more dollars the day of our move. They packed boxes like complete idiots. Many precious family heirloom items were destroyed. They don't return phone calls. They don't care. Zero empathy. They don't do good work. They are disrespectful. Instead of bringing one big truck, they had 3 small trucks. They left their drinking bottles and candy wrappers in our garage and in our yard. They dragged a box of our Christmas ornaments down the basement stairs and broke many items in the box. They refused to move boxes where they really belonged, making my wife and I lift all these heavy boxes to where they really belonged. They promised to give me a partial refund and never did. Instead, they sent me an envelope with literally nothing in it. They are shameless and I am suing them. DO NOT use them under any circumstances. I also filed a complaint with the ****************************. They don't belong in business.

  Do not hire this company. They are a complete night mare and we cannot believe such a horrible company can relain in business.First of all we could never get a move time from the Company. When they finally showed up on a Saturday afternoon, they we 5 hours late. They arrived at 3:30 with 2 guys and 2 24 foot trucks to move a ***** s. ft house. The move gets started with a request to sign a damage waiver clause or purchase their insurance at a premium cost. We chose no to take the insurance. They also expand they were hired to move 3200 c. ft. and anything above that would cost us and additional at their c. ft rate.The move gets started and the ******* leaves the move to get a bigger truck as the truck he had arrived with was half full of someone's else's move. We get the boxes loaded before the thunderstorm arrives. The ******* leaves again to get a different truck and returns around 9 pm. The move continues and after a half hour or so, we find the ******* asleep in a chair. Once he wakes up, he uses our bathroom. Around midnight, my wife is cleaning up as the move is progressing and finds the toilet plugged and nearly over flowing. The ******* never told us he plugged the toilet and we had to borrow a plunger from a neighbor to unclog the toilet. The second truck is filled around 2:30 AM and we stop for the night getting a promise they will come back by 10 Sunday AM. They arrived before 10 to finish the move but once the truck was about half full, they says we have reached our move limit and anything additional would be an extra cost. We had a closing Monday AM so we had to ask they continue and we would pay the additional fees. Once they move out was completed, they asked for an additional $2,000. We had no choice but to agree to the terms,We kept asking where they were taking our move. We promised a local climate controlled storage space. They told us a few weeks later, they took our stuff from ***** Il to **********.

  All of the reviews here are consistent with my experience. Over $11K in moving expenses from ** to ** and everything went horribly wrong. The short version:Initial pick up: late by four hours; then the guys left for an hour after working for 20 minutes; the time they were there they messed around on their phones, came back with a different truck (which looked smaller). Delivery: was 6 hours late, one guy left after two hours and didn't return, I helped move boxes and furniture into the house until 11pm, the beds were not assembled. Tons of damage to my furniture. Asked for a partial refund. They said they discounted a delivery fee of 799. This was never on my bill nor something I was told about. It was a made up fee. These folks are the worst. AVOID at all cost.

  Horrible! If zero stars were an option they would get it to both Best American Moving LLC or Safe Ship! The Estimate was no where close to what we were charged. Beware our furniture was loaded last and was all considered additional cubic square feet. Arrived at 4 pm left at 11:30pm and left multiple items off the truck. Worst experience ever! Let's not forget to mention the postal or ******* money orders. Refused cashiers cks and bank money orders!

  DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY The price I e'signed changed after the loaders came and loaded my furniture. They quoted almost ******* more than what I e-signed for. Then they'll tell me it'll be about 5 to 10 days to get my things after I signed. Then a few days later, I get another email saying it will be 21 business days. This is the worst decision I made when it came to moving. I've had to buy things I that I already have due to them nit getting mt things to me. The one guy didn't even help the other one that was loading. He kept banging my furniture on the walls, *********..I dread to see what my furniture will look like when it finally does arrive. I would actually rate them a 0 but there's no answer for that. Warning do not hire this company, you will be lied to, ******************* after your things are loaded on their truck so you have no choice but to agree. I feel I should only pay what I e signed for.

  Stay away from these Scammers!!!!!!! they steal your belongings for a living, do not use these thiefs they will up charge you break all of your belongings & steal all of your expensive stuff. They work hand in hand with safe ship the other thiefs that just steal hard working peoples money for a living!!!!!!! Stay far far away from these garbage people. You wont understand a word because none of them speak proper English. This company deserves a 0 star for being garbage people!!!!!!!!!

  This company is such a rip off and scam artist. They work with another company called safe ship. We got one quote from safe ship, and then they sent over best American to pick up our furniture as soon as they got to our house they came in and said that it was more of a square footage an said the furniture wont fit on the truck. We paid the ***************************************** money orders from banks only post office and Zelle. Know that I paid the 3500 the furniture fits on the truck. I ask how much was the storage area they told me that they will give me a call let me know they never did so I called them. They told me $1000. I told them I need my furniture and we need to set up some dates so I called and got a storage area for $349. Delivery day we set up to delivery day to ************** two hours prior and they told me the previous day they gave me they could not do so We complain and complain so they said they would do it the following day and they called and said they couldnt do that they could do Easter Sunday at 10 AM Easter Sunday they were not there. I called the company know answer I text they have not showed u .They sent me a picture of a map. They got there at 2 oclock how unprofessional I totally recommend that people stay away from safe ship and best American they will rip you off every ***** you have I end up paying $7000 more from safe ship. but this is how they allow them to do their business with their customers .

  DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!! Do not deserve the 1 star I had to leave in order to do the review. This was the worst experience ever. They are the absolute worst. They damaged soooo much of our furniture. The things they did to us is way to much to even list. Their response when contacted was we video taped the entire move - Im like you video taped us without our permission? Plus they were not video taping the entire move and if they did they certainly were taping everything because they intentionally damaged our items. They try to scam more money out of you. The best was they took our stuff all nice at the end but were on their cell phones the entire time speaking in a different language- even as they were carrying out stuff - scheming the entire time. They left our house around 7 PM In ************ and drove straight thru to ***** and were calling us the next day while we were still in PA finalizing things as discussed and agreed upon at least 5-14 day arrival. They got to ***** demanding to unload that night or be charged $1,400 per day until we got there. There is so much they did to us but cant list it all. I believe they had to make some kind of safety violations doing that drive. Its scary to have people like that on the road. Please please do not use them. You will regret it. They are very very shady and the worst part is nobody will help you at all.

  DO NOT do business with Best American Movers from ********, **, or Safe Ship Moving from *************, **. When we knew that we would be moving over 500 miles away, we called multiple companies. We decided on Safe Ship because they advertise as being veteran-owned/giving back to the veterans. As a broker, they assigned us to Best American Movers. We were charged to have a shuttle truck because the 48 trailer would not be able to get to our home. Best American came with 6 people (3 employees, 3 from ************ They came with 2 trucks and told us that the semi-trailer was parked by the highway. They said they would transfer everything to the trailer. Around 8:30 that night, Best American said they couldn't fit everything. He said that he knew the cubic footage of the two trucks that he brought and that they were equal to the 48 trailer. He said he needed $6,000 more to finish the loading. Most of our things were loaded, we didnt have a choice but to pay the ******. The next day they came to load the rest. These items were just tossed into the truck, sideways and disheveled. Best American didn't arrive until 5:00 pm at our new home. We were told that they had the semi-trailer was parked off the highway. The same 3 employees came with 3 others hired from an outside source. One of the people was a 14-year-old boy. This person was found hiding in a car or other rooms of the house, not working. We found food wrappers in dresser drawers after they left.As the furniture was being unloaded, we started to take pictures. This upset Raf from Best American. He began yelling at us and threatened that he would take the truck and we wouldn't get our things for 12 days and it would cost $4,000. I SHOULD HAVE CALLED THE POLICE AT THIS MOMENT. We filed claim forms with the 3rd party claims company. After 6 months, and 60 logged phone calls, we finally settled for $700, not even enough to fix damage to the walls of our home. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE COMPANIES!

  I was also taken by these two companies. There should be laws to put these companies out of BUSINESS. Every time I talked to safe ship the price was doubled!!! What was quoted as a $1697 move ended up costing me OVER $24,000. Pure bait and switch scam. I just HOPE this NEVER happens to anyone else.
