We were very disappointed with Walsh Senior Solutions who helped us to empty my parents house after their deaths. He contacted an auction house to sell our parents' many antique furniture pieces, clocks, paintings, silver... and household items. But Walsh was not present when the auction house took the items and did not keep a list of what was taken even though he reiterated and the contract stated, "Auctioneer will photograph, research, catalog, and advertise this sale at Auctioneers expense." Of course, we assumed that we'd receive the pictures with the accounting of what was sold. We never received photographs or the catalog despite repeat requests. We had no way of accounting for what was taken to see if all was sold. **** even asked my sister what was taken at one point. In the end, we received sketchy identification of some items from the auction house, but again, no original list and photos with which to compare. Further, **** did not lay out all our options-- auction house vs estate sale, vs ******** Marketplace, etc. so that we could make an informed decision as to what was best with all the possessions.**** was very personable, but this was unacceptable. **** was also slow to respond to emails, although this pales in comparison to the larger issue of not taking care to preserve our best interests with the auction house. We can not recommend Walsh Senior Solutions.
