I have been doing business with Ramin, owner of TLC flooring, since 2016

I've spent over $12,000.00 for tile and flooring material in that time, without any problems.

in April 2024, I purchased more laminate to complete my house I paid for the purchase, and had the installer at the house.

the last 3 boxes, one of the 3, he opened, it was damaged on the sides, and ends of the connecting laminate were damaged.

we had the ceiling to finish, but with the damaged tile, I told him just to finish the three walls and the shelf and we would leave the ceiling, because the box was damaged and I didn't want to rip the other two opening them.

so, I didn't get to finish the project the way I wanted to because the laminate was damaged

I'm sure, it wasn't damaged by me, because I very carefully loaded and unloaded those boxes myself. nothing was dropped or bent or anything when I loaded or unloaded those

so, Monday, July 8th, I went to TLC Flooring to return the 3 boxes

Ramin the owner was out of town, so I spoke with Ron the salesman and Ramin's daughter, Jennifer

I presented the receipt, and get returned the three boxes of coffee break laminate to them at the store, which they accepted

after waiting a week for the product to be returned and the money to be refunded to my account, I called the business.

after 2 days of wasting my time, ( which is valuable, I bill my clients at $250/hr ), I was finally able to get Ron on the phone, and he informed me that the daughter jennifer, had talked to her father Raymond the owner, and he denied the refund

I bought that product in good faith, the product was damaged, I returned it. they should be responsible for their materials, I paid them in good faith.

I want my money returned, and if I can I want to build them $250 for 4 hours for my time they wasted

it's a shame, that ramin made this decision, I've been a good client to him, and I referred at least three people that have bought flooring from him. big mistake
