Disgusting people to have to deal with. My family and I have never been so disrespected in our live!!!! My wife and I came in to inquire about adopting a puppy and we brought our 4 kids (ages 8,5,2,&1) my kids and wife fell in love with a puppy that way available but we were told we were not allowed to adopt the dog because of our kids. She said they are crazy in front of a store full of people. Mind you I have 4 excited kids (who are about to get a dog) in a very busy store with what they see as toys and puppies everywhere. My 2 year old did start to crawl on a shelf and I had to grab him and than was picking up the tennis ***** that were on his level. We explained we have play areas for the kids and my wife is a stay at home mom so she will be with the dog all the time and we were told they were saving us from killing the dog And my oldest son is a danger to the dog because he is autistic but we can have any other dog!?! how can these people deny my family of adopting a dog that is available, just based off them being around my family for literally ten minutes. I am going to file a lawsuit violating my families rights through the disability act these people are horrible. Just because you are doing a good thing helping find dogs home doesnt mean you are a good person and the people I had to deal with over there were definitely not good people.

They ghost you after you pay the fee. They promise to neuter/spay and vaccinate your dog/cat but they will never get back to you. They are not a true rescue, they are selling dogs from puppy ***** at an extremely high price

I also find something off about this supposed adoption agency, something fluky going on. Its not nice to put kitties in Cages at a shopping mall, lore in potential good care giving and loving providers and give the impression you could be a ******/adopter. How about we have the rescue fill out a form, and we also pose questions whether good natured, qualified and able cat lovers are discriminated against for not meeting every micro criterion. Give me a break! I wonder if this is the same organization that was farming & proliferating more kitties and cats I have ever seen, in order to run a scam. This organization should definitely be investigated. Something is not right here. The volunteers that work at *********** arent at all. They are brainwashed to cover-up, a shady organization.

If I could do a minus 5 I would! Lack of communication . No direct answers , I felt it was very poorly run. I’ve waited 2 months for my application to be reviewed still waiting. I wonder about the cats and their care..
I have not found them to be very interested in getting their animals adopted based on their unacceptable lack of communication. My references have never told me they were contacted at all! So they get a 0 from me. I’d like to know who is responsible for overseeing these adoption centers .. they need a good looking into ,and likely to be restaffed it seems based on how they handled things with me!

Do not support this rescue. I wish to make a complaint about Lost Paws Rescue located in the *******************. I volunteered to ****** a puppy through their rescue from an posting on ********* The puppy was dropped off by one of their volunteers on October 8, 2023. She presented a ****** paper for me to sign which I did and she took with her without giving me a copy. On Friday, October 13, 2023, I expressed the desire to adopt the puppy as we had grown very attached in his time here with me. It was concerning to me that there was no support given for the puppy such as food or puppy pads for potty training. When asked about what food he had been eating, she did not know, and no health history was given. No guidance what-so-ever was provided. This needs to change. After bringing him upstairs, I realized that his collar was so tight as I could not fit two fingers through it. He was also extremely thirsty and hungry as well as having diarrhea the entire time I had him. I was never provided information on adoption fees and no fees are listed on their web site. As a professional organization, it is their responsibility to provide me with a copy of the contract and any information I would need in fostering or adopting an animal, which they did not do. Furthermore, no guidance or resources were provided in case of a medical emergency. Unfortunately, I had not thought to look into the reputation of this rescue before getting involved with them. There are over 78 reviews on Yelp. I am concerned that they take in strays and unwanted animals to make a profit by using caring people who are willing to ****** them for free. While this does result in adoptions of both sick and non sick animals, this is unethical and needs to be stopped. At the very least, there needs to be transparency and communication within their rescue to provide proper care for their animals.

As noted in previous reviews, this organizations is anything but organized. I went to an adoption event at Petsmart, submitted an adoption application, and was told Id hear back in 5-7 days. Over a month later, I still havent heard back. I emailed them- the website says this is the best form of contact- never heard back. I have a cat at home that comes from a house with other cats and hes lonely. As a pet owner, I want my cat to have a playmate and also have stimulation throughout the day when Im at work. This organization does not have the animals best interests in mind. If they did, they would be reaching out to people who apply and actually getting the animals forever homes. The least they could do is reach out and let you know if they dont think youre a good fit. Instead, they leave you hanging with absolutely no answer at all. Poor management, poor organization, sorry excuse for an animal shelter.

Do not support this rescue, theyre the farthest thing from, and actually happily **ntribute to the problem. They travel the ** taking litters knowing they dont have fosters. They scam people into adopting more pets than they planned or should, they refuse to fix young pets before adoption, and dont follow up At All in the hopes they can keep the adoption fee thats MEANT for the animals care, leaving the adopted animals to make more unwanted litters. They leave pets in carriers for Hours at a time with no food water or litter. They dont even provide food or water for adoption events in Bridgewater. They gaslight the people that actually volunteer to ******, provide no food or supplies, and expect them to find homes if they can no longer ******. Theyre the most disorganized, irresponsible rescue Ive ever seen. They shouldnt be allowed to ** to use as a rescue.
