We have noticed massive outburst of salt into our house water system during the water softener regeneration process that happened in the middle of the day. Me and my wife had to call A1 Water multiple times. The technician visited us once, stating that system works fine and only addressing irrelevant incorrect time which according to him was due to a power failure, but perhaps was simple one hour shift due to ******* saving time. However A1 Water never returned our calls or provided us with any response about the following:1. A1 Water never provided us with the warranty information 2. A1 Water never got back to us about removing the system In the last call A1 Water promised us that the management will reach us about above questions, but they never did.

One Star read why.No one likes to see a bad review, and it can be very damaging to someone's business. Up until now, we never had a review below 4.0. We will accept this bad review as a badge of honor. We are a small women-owned family business working hard, providing jobs and water solutions to our customers, and giving back to our community at any opportunity. We are not a large corporation where a bad review can be disregarded or maybe not cared about. WE DO CARE; however, we do recognize that sometimes no matter how much you go above and beyond, it is for naught unless you give the reviewer something that is not obtainable or reasonable. We are genuinely sorry that you felt this was the only way to release your frustrations. I hope you find peace in whatever you choosewith your equipment. We never like to sever relationships, but sometimes there is no other answer. Your property has a Hydrotech MBHTO. Warranties are given at the installation and are always available through the manufacturer, which is clearly labeled on the front of the system. We would have been delighted to supply you with another copy since it is easily accessed and public knowledge. On 9/1/2022, your household called regarding your water tasting salty; we tried to explain duringthat conversation why this would occur, to no avail. Since this was not an emergency by any means, we stated we would call when we had technicians in the area, which could take up to 2 weeks. After a few more phone calls and conversations, we sent 9/6/2022 technicians to your home. The technician's tested the water, and the water readings were perfect. Both technicians sampled water for salty residue; it was nonexistent. It was explained why the backwash went on during the day "due to the system going out due to the electricity and in September has nothing to do with a ******************* and then they reset the system to the correct time. They also explained why the water would taste salty because regeneration went off during the day, and it was being used at a time that was not optimum for the household. The same day the technicians were at the property ****************************** in-depth to ********, your wife, about the system and her concern that water from the test tube was flushed down the toilet. ******** was concerned it was harmful and would get back into the water and in the house. **** assured her that the veil contained water from the home and less than 1/2 a drop of the chemical. Only a 1/2 drop was used since the water immediatelyread zero hardness. In the same conversation, ******** stated she might want the system removed and did not care that there would be no refund for the system since it was installed in November 2019. ******** also asked what the Warranty was, which was explained to her. **** asked her to research the system's benefits and seehow she thought about the system after that. Considering the system was not just a water softener, it has a carbon filter that is used to removevarious impurities and provides quality water. That was the last conversation with anyone in this household. The care we take with our customers s not always satisfying to everyone. We do our best and are human, but thus far from perfect. However, we give 110% of ourselves all the time. We do understand that no matter what we do, it will not always satisfy everyone all the time. The service call was "at no charge "and was not covered by any warranty. We did this for your household and others in Sparta homes. This area was going through periods of power surges, and many of our customers had issues with the timing of the system being off. On our visits, we showed our customers how to reset the timers for the future. We did not walk them through it on the phone, nor did we tell them to look in the manual (where the Warranty is as well). Warranty is Seven-Year Complete Parts Guarantee, Life Time Warranty on Mineral Tanks and ********** (limited to proper care and maintenance of products). Since apparently our answer as to why the water would have tasted salty is not sufficient, here is a direct quote from asking " ****** has also provided a quick answer to why my water taste salty after regeneration "Water tasting salty- Water softeners are programmed to regenerate when people aren't using the water. Most often, this is around 2 or 3 am.If your system is set for a different time of day, and you use the water during the regeneration cycle, you can end up with saltwater in the water pipes." Thank you, and be well. ************************* - the Owner

Problem Number 1. We had to make multiple calls to A1 to receive a response. One day we were promised that technician will come on a certain date, but he did not, another day we were promised a call back which never happened. Problem Number 2. All this clock adjustment and water testing was irrelevant. We have called Hydrotech and checked the manual to confirm that system has a valve preventing salty water from going into household water line during regeneration. The salty water supposed to go directly to drain and if you accidentally open the faucet during regeneration, only the original hard water should flow out of it.Since A1 stop responding to our phone calls after the first visit, we had to reach a third party, *******************************************. He performed manual regeneration and saw that the valve was leaking. If we had 7 years part warranty, then A1 should have fixed the problem.
