    I ordered an electric blanket from this company. It worked for all of four hours and then broke. **************** will not work with me to resolve the issue. Im hoping the BBB will rectify this and intervene on my behalf. I did my own research and discovered that this is a common complaint from buyers of Shavels electric blankets. The product broke within the first few hours of use.

    Good afternoon,

    We have reviewed the complain attached and have found that the item was purchase through one of our 3rd party vendors in this case **********. Even though we can not process a refund since we are not the seller for our mutual customer, we would love to help them out by replacing their controllers to get their blanket working. In order for this process to take place the customer will need to register their blanket. We will be waiving the 30 day period of registration since we do see the blanket was purchased last year 2023. This way they can register for the limited 5 year warranty on our website and get the replacement controllers shipped to them at no cost to them. Please note we strive to keep all customers happy and would love to get this going asap. Once registered please reach out to our customer service number ************ and one of our **** will be happy to assist.

    On 12-18-22 I emailed customer service my blanket was not working properly on one side. It does not heat as it should, only when I set it on eight (8) can I feel warmth. I set the timer for 8 hours, but it turns itself off sometime during the night. I purchased from Bed Bath and Beyond 1-5-22 and used it maybe 2 months after purchase, and this occurred when I went to use it this winter. They responded 12-18-22 with some troubleshooting tasked to try, I replied 1/16/23 it was still not working as it should. Their response on 1/24/23 was if I did not register the blanket they were not going to help me. Based on the BBB, Bed ************** and ****** reviews multiple consumers have had this issue. Unfortunately I did not register the blanket, but I can provide the receipt. I paid $190 for the blanket, and would like one that works. I would like to receive a replacement blanket or a refund. Based on reviews, this company does not stand behind their brand or care about their consumers. This appears to be an on-going issue and one would think the manufacturer would have fixed by now.

    Settlement reached with customer, even though she did not register for warranty as needed we will honor and stand behind our product. We have shipped out a replacement electric blanket and will arrive tomorrow 2.21.23 by end of day. Customer can call our customer support team if she has any additional problems and should register her new blanket as soon as it's received via a phone call or online registration form on our website.
