Charged me for two days storage fee and I was there for less than 24 hours. I have sent several inquiries and they have not replied. I am dead serious. I will proceed accordingly on this matter. I'm not like others who will chalk up a loss after overcharging me. I got towed by ****** County from a legal spot for having an expired registration from ****************************** a warning, the sheriff gave me a ticket and then called for the tow! In a park where the car wasn't bothering anyone. Unreal. Because the post office wasn't forwarding my mail, I didn't know the registration was expiring. So instead of giving me a warning, or just a regular ticket....I get a ticket and tow! My car is a sports car and I guess it stood out to the officer. I am waiting for a WRITTEN response from ******.

Hello,While it seems the customer is more upset at the police for having their car impounded, we followed the rates that we are allowed. However, we have been in communications with the customer and believe that she is satisfied with our resolution. Thank you

I was upset about the tow and the charge. I have confirmed that the amount that Tumino's charged me was NOT ALLOWED and was in fact, incorrect. I contacted several government entities about the 24 hour rule when it comes to daily storage fees. I provided this info to ******, but their representative kept telling me that I had incorrect information. But what ****** did not do was provide me with a document in support of their statements. So I contacted the the ****** ************* and the ************** in ****** County. The deputy counsel with the county wrote an me an email stating the following:"Subsection (d) of ordinance ********** regarding the 24 hours for tows is still valid. If your vehicle was towed by a municipal law enforcement agency then this Ordinance would not apply. The municipality may have its own towing Ordinance. If you were towed at the direction of a Sheriffs Officer then this Ordinance does apply, in addition to the older Ordinance, Number **********. "My vehicle was towed at the request of the sheriff, and Tuminos is a contracted company with the sheriff. That means the storage fees for a new day is based on a 24 hour period, and a new day does not begin at midnight as ****** had charged me for. ****** has been cooperative and offered some money back, but because of the back and forth about the ordinance, I needed to double check things. It took me a lot of time and effort to find out the facts. I hope the information is helpful to ****** and others who read this.

      >REVISED COMMENT REMOVE ********* PLACED BY WEBSITE: I was upset about the tow and the charge. I have confirmed that the amount that this company charged me was NOT ALLOWED and was, in fact, incorrect. I contacted several government entities about the 24-hour rule regarding daily storage fees. I provided this info to the towing company, but their representative kept telling me I had incorrect information. But what the company representative did not do was provide me with a document in support of their statements. So I contacted the county park, and the law department which created the ordinance about towing in the county. The deputy counsel with the county wrote me an email stating the following: "Subsection (d) of the 2019 ordinance regarding the 24 hours for tows is still valid. If your vehicle was towed by a municipal law enforcement agency then this Ordinance would not apply. The municipality may have its own towing Ordinance. If you were towed at the direction of a Sheriffs Officer then this Ordinance does apply, in addition to the older Ordinance (from 2013)". My vehicle was towed at the sheriff's request, and Tuminos is a contracted company with the sheriff. That means the storage fees for a new day is based on a 24-hour period, and a new day does not begin at midnight as the tow company had charged me for. The tow company has been cooperative and offered some money back, but I needed to double-check things because of the back and forth about the ordinance. It took me a lot of time and effort to find out the facts. I hope the information is helpful to the tow company and others who read this. I did confirm that the city the park is in also has a tow ordinance, and they also have the 24-hour rule in place.
