  The worst management group I have ever been forced to work with. The Haggerty Group managed the apartment building that my landlords owned, but they don't know a single thing about renters laws, tenants rights, or plain human decency. They attempted to cut corners anywhere and everywhere possible. They took our 1.5 month security deposit when we moved in, never told us what Bank, kind of account, or interest rate our money was deposited into, and at the anniversary of our lease resigning & renewal, they never gave us the interest. Our lease resign for our 4th year was at the end of August, they sent us the renewal with an attempted increase in our rent without appropriate legal notice, and then had to revise and resend our lease renewal with the appropriate rent. We signed this form, sent it back, and now the landlords have been holding it without THEIR signatures since September 1st, because they are trying to sell the property. It is now October 25th, the properly has not been sold yet, and they are in violation of our rights as tenants claiming we do not have a lease resign in place without their signature, even though they sent us the lease re-sign for the year at the end of August. They have not maintained the property appropriately, and yesterday October 24th, PSEG had to address a gas leak in our basement and replace old broken pipes- when we have been battle PSEG for 2 years because our bill has been astronomical. We have suffered emotionally and financially because of this groups egregious business tactics and horrendous negligence. If this group is managing an apartment building you want to move into, DO NOT move into it. They will make everything 50x harder than it needs to be.
