    Purchased oven from A1 appliance. **** never worked. Store owner is not receptive to assisting to resolve the issue. States they are the middle man . We contacted the manufacturer (Frigidaire) and were referred back to the seller. We paid $2000 and dont have a working oven for almost one month

    In response to your correspondence dated April 15, 2024, regarding complaint reference #********, the following are the details related to this matter: 
    * April 2, 2024 - the customer purchased a ******************* wall-oven (Model FCWS2727AB) which was delivered on Thursday, April 11, 2024. 
    * April 13, 2024 - A-1 Appliance was notified the oven was not working properly. The customer was advised, as per the requirements of the manufacturers warranty, once a new appliance is installed, any service that is required on that appliance must be done by the manufacturer or the warranty becomes null and void.    
    In an effort to facilitate the repair, A-1 contacted Frigidaire to expedite the process. The company representative advised us to notify the customer to register the ********************** before the manufacturer could perform the service required. The customer was notified. Upon completion of the registration by the customer, the manufacturer *********************** the oven returning it to working condition. The issue was resolved within a six-day time frame, despite the complaint citing not having a working oven for almost a month. 
    While it is unfortunate that the new appliance had a defect, once the appliance is delivered to the customer, A-1 ********************** does not have the authority to make any repairs as the manufacturer is responsible under the terms of the warranty, however we did facilitate the repairs with the manufacturer to expedite the issue. Any requests for exchange of the appliance as requested by the complainant would have to be made directly to the manufacturer. 
    As a small business owner who has been in business for over 50 years, we strive to satisfy our customers to ensure they return, however we are bound by the terms of the warranty specifications. We worked with the customer and the manufacturer as the middle-man to remedy this issue to the best our ability and the satisfaction of the customer. The issue was resolved within a week of A-1 Appliance being notified.
