    We had a truly horrendous experience for a party at Rockaway Lanes on 10/30/22 @1pm. We have severe food allergies in the family and thus have individuals who cannot eat outside food. We tried to bring in a few items for these family members so they would be able to still eat during the party and were instructed by the person at the front desk that we could not do so because it violates their insurance policy. When we tried to explain the severity of the issues we have with outside food, we were directed to the manager who then said to us that it was "ridiculous" and denied us multiple times. Despite explaining that we would still be purchasing the food and fulfilling all of our contractual obligations for our party, the best they said was to "eat in the parking lot" and then come in. This is discrimination and a straight violation of the *** (42 U.S.C. *****) and cannot be tolerated. Rockaway Lanes does not deserve anyone's business as they are dehumanizing and rude. To top it off, we only got 1.5 hours of bowling instead of the full 2 hours that we paid for because they started the timer while this ordeal was taking place and while the family members had to eat lunch in the car outside.
