    Date of transaction was October 20, 2020. So far, we have paid $3,857.76 to *** Financial. *** Financial provided desktop phones. *** Financial says they were with ***** and they are not, they were just a second party. Claiming that if we didn't upgrade our desktop phones our phones wouldn't be compatible with ************* which was not true. You can buy the same phones off Amazon for $143.57 for one phone. We have contacted them and told them we wanted out of the lease, and they told us we had to continue paying for the phones. The lease was not up till October 20, ****. Which is a total of $8,553.00 just for the phones not the service. We have realized this was a scam. We just want out of the lease and to be compensated for $3,000.00 or terminate lease.

    NEC Financial Services is a commercial equipment leasing company that has been operating for more than 35 years. We take our reputation very seriously and dispute all the accusations made by the consumer.

    Firstly, we do not have a finance agreement directly with the Consumer, but with his company,  ******* of ******, Inc..  The Consumers allegation against NEC Financial Services is false and baseless, as weve never spoken to the Consumer about ATT , their phone system or service. The BBB should require the Complainant to provide all the documentation and emails so you are able to confirm the information before the Consumer can post this false and incorrect information about NEC Financial Services. If the Consumer has an issue about the equipment that is subject to their Lease Agreement with NEC Financial Services, they should contact the supplier vendor that they selected, we are a finance company and not an equipment vendor or service provider. NEC Financial Services, LLC is not responsible for the service, installation, or maintenance of any leased and or financed equipment. Should you require copies of the legal documentation, please let us know of your requirement. 
     
    Moreover, we were asked by the customer to finance their new phone system. The agreement signed by this customer very clearly spells out that the agreement is for the equipment only and is non-cancelable. Our documentation clearly states and indemnifies us against their claim. If there is an issue with their service or equipment, the issue needs to be directed to the service provider or equipment seller.  NEC Financial Services, LLC is not responsible for service, installation, or any maintenance of any leased and or financed equipment. We are merely a lender in this transaction. The customer borrowed money from us to acquire a new phone system.
