      I ordered 5 magazines only 4 were delivered sealed in a plastic sleeve. Four magazines were approx same weight, one was an anniversary issue 120 pages. I informed the company one was missing. Their response is unprofessional and inappropriate. After reviewing this companies reviews Apparently this is an ongoing issue stealing from their consumers and they are not being held accountable.

      This claim is false and we will prove this.  Some consumers fail to realize that these magazines are being delivered to a prison. The prison mail room policy is to remove the magazines from the packaging that we send the magazines in along with the receipt.  This is prison policy.  Our magazines are not shipped and placed into any plastic bag what so ever.  The consumer stated that the magazines were in plastic.  this means that the prison officers handled the magazines before they were given to her loved one.  We have proof that all magazines were shipped.  Each magazines weighs in at 1lb and has 100 pages.  The package weighed in at a little over 5lbs by the United States postal Service. We have included all receipts.  All 4 magazines were about 1lb each.  The customer is trying to say that we sent 4 magazines and the 1 magazine that had an extra 20 pages weighed in at 5lbs.  this wouldn't be true.  That would mean that the 100 page magazines would have to weigh in at over 1lb each if only 20 pages actually weighed in at 1lb as the consumer is trying to imply.  Our policy when problems happen is very simple.  Have the prison mail room supervising officer, write to our company directly on prison letter head.  This letter must state that the package contents that arrived to the prison didn't match the receipt.  The letter must also state that only 4 magazines arrived and not 5.   This is against prison policy to accept any package that doesn't match the packing receipt.   It's very easy to blame the company rather than the prison. 

      There is no reason to cheat anyone out of a magazine.  Our address is on file with the prison as well as it being on the packing receipt that is attached to this email.  The prison can write us directly.  We will not accept this type of document from anyone else.  This is also our policy on our website for consumers to see before ordering.
