    My wife ******** was in for a test that our health insurance did not cover at the time that should have been. I managed to get them to cover the procedure and my health insurance company reached out several times and spoke to a **** in the billing department who has never updated the account with the new EOB to send to her manager for review like she said she would. Being that the insurance company has now covered this procedure I am owed a refund for $547.09 that I paid.

    South Jersey Radiology Associates is committed to our patients privacy and to complying with all applicable law pertaining to patient privacy, including the **************** Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).  As a result, we are not able to specifically address the Complaint in this public forum.  While we cannot comment directly on patient communications or care, please know that any patient concern related to billing is addressed directly with the patient.  Patients are also encouraged to call the billing department and may request to speak to a patient experience supervisor.  Thank you.

    On January 10, 2024, I went to this SJRA, for a Mammogram. Upon, making my appointment, I was asked the name of my insurance carrier. I went to schedule mammo. I gave intake checking in medical company, and insurance card id. No one, Never Stated we dont take your insurance. Nothing said just checked me in for mammogram, and told to have a seat until called. Today March 1st, I received a Bill $605. Telling me they Dont except my insurance. I wouldnt have gotten the test knowing that they dont Except my insurance. Had they told me I would have left, and made appointment with radiology elsewhere. For this reason that Im reaching out to BBB. I shouldnt have to pay this bill. This error lack of communication by South Jersey Radiology 900 building Rt 168 ****** **. What makes this so bad, the woman took my medical card and personal ID photo copied. Told me Im all checked in. They also sent me a bill a few weeks ago. I meant to reach out to BBB then. I called the number for billing and told Im responsible to pay this bill. I said that I have insurance and should have been told then. We Dont Except your Insurance.
