I had a roof installed by Ultimate in November 2022. Two weeks into December a water leak detected (was not there prior to new roof) , causing leak in attic thus causing damage to closet dry wall being water logged leaking onto clothing that was saturated some ruined, source was assumed to be flashing around chimney stack. Called ***** who said "put a bucket up there" and he would send out crew to try and correct within 2 weeks. **** tried to fix and stated ******* chase cover needs replacement- not notified when job was estimated. I called back after repairs as attic was still leaking, was given hard time when **** was not corrected with crew - reached out several times - was told I need to replace the chimney chase, no offer to assist even when I asked for a recommended company he said he could reach out to someone he knows. I waited weeks, no further communication so I called another company to have chase on top replaced. Roofing company replacing chase inspected attic area where leaking - identified poor workmanship with flashing, could see gaps with daylight. Replacement needed for flashing around chimney (original concern) due to step flashing not being installed correctly costing additional dollars.Would not recommend Ultimate Roofing for any roofing needs - poor follow up for warranty work and customer service .

This isnt true at all. I have endless photos of the damage not related to the roof.

We were called out for a roof replacement and signed a deal. everything went very well with consumer. After job was done a month or two goes by and we receive a call that a leak has occurred. We send a crew out right away. The owner was away at that time. The crew was directed to replace all chimney flashings AGAIN, and installed a rain diverter. ( we have photos ).....

In photos you can see that chimney is a hard 90 degree hit about 10ft across. that area had previous repairs in the section with tar from another contractor. We replaced the entire step flashing originally and again.

Owner goes out to property as consumer stated roof was still leaking. (we have many photos) The top of the chimney which is a separate area of expertise has flat surface about 4ft wide by 10ft length the chimney top sits about 5 ft. over the roof line. The top of the chimney is not properly capped it was capped with basic aluminum roll coil metal which requires multiple pieces with then contains seams. The seams were covered in dry rotted caulk. The actual B-vent area has a 1 inch gap directly around the neck and at the base all around on all sides which could easily have water entering home.

Also That chimney has a rust line that runs down the top of it down the side of the house usually an indication of a long term leak because water goes under the flashing sits rusts out then eventually leaks out from the point of least resistance.

Also on the front portion of the home the gutter actually sits inside of the chimney by about 2 inches. ( We have photos ) which is also rotted and completely disintegrated on the wall/ facia board and chimney.

Prior to roof install it was recommended to consumer that he should replace his gutters as some of his facia boards looked like they may be starting to rot away because some of the gutters started to become droopy. The consumer declined the recommendation and insisted only the roofing portion be changed.

Consumer even states he took our recommendation of the chimney cap needing to be replaced and got it done from another company and it stopped leaking. This consumer is just upset that he had to spend more money to fix his home and wants to try to tarnish a good company's name.
