    If I could score a zero, I would. The owner of this business, is quite possibly the least effective business owner and, without a doubt, lacks a shred of credibility or integrity. After being referred as a member of a networking group, I had a rep from the business prepare an estimate for an exterior painting job. I got competitive quotes from various companies, and their quote and service offering was better than the rest. Having agreed to this by both parties, we decided to move forward with this company back in December of 2022 to schedule the job for spring of 2023. I had not heard anything until this past week, until the owner texted me to try and renegotiate the previously agreed upon quote. When I pressed to keep the quote the same, he moved onto ignoring my replies and stating that I was strong arming him to do the work. He blamed the sales rep several times and even mentioned that I could split the cost with him to complete the job. At one point he attacked my personal character, stating that we only work with nice and reasonable people, so Im not sure we would have wanted to do business with you anyway. Good leadership means ownership and accountability, which makes sense as to why this sales rep and the office manager quit within the past few months. GLS Painters lacks any fiber of dignity, accountability and customer service Ive ever come across in a small business owner, a population that I work to support each and every day in my own profession. Since he terminated our agreement, Ive now had to get new quotes and pricing and further wait for our project to be completed. All quotes were cheaper than his updated one, which more than doubled the previous price of the job. Dont do business with this company.
