I hired Task Dog Training to board my dog from 11/3/23-11/12/23. I was told to board it was $75 a day & if I wanted the owner ****** to work on any training commands while he was there it would be $25 more per day. I said yes to $100 per day to board/train while I was away. She asked what commands I would like her to concentrate on & I said come & stay. I paid her in full the $1,000. While away she text me to leave the dog there for up to 2 to 3 weeks for more training. I told her I would think about it. She text a few times asking about our decision. I eventually said we would do 4 more days & pick him up on the 16th. I felt pressured to leave him longer with her saying he could use more training even though my purpose of hiring her for this time frame was to board him. On the 13th I text her at 4:45pm saying our son was missing his ******** would like to pick him up on Tuesday evening instead of Thursday. I intended to pay her $400 for me saying yes to him staying until Thursday. When she responded to my text at 6pm, she told me I had to pick him up by 7:30 Monday evening OR I couldn't get my dog until Thursday at 5:15. That even if I pick him up early I need to pay her the 400. I responded I was at a loss of words & would be there by 7:30. I paid her the 400 cash and she handed my dog's leash to me. There was an argument between *************************** and my husband. The owner called me a daddy's little girl, & an entitled princess who has never been told no. I said how can you tell someone they can't get their dog? She mad no sense and would scream about my high expectations of training. I said I hired you to bored the dog and work on 2 commands. I sent her a text saying I feel I am owed a refund of ****** (should be 300) since you refused to keep my dog until Tuesday and my only option was the full 4 additional days or come get him by 7:30 that evening. She refused to board him so I should receive a refund of at least $******. Owner has not responded.

      Business Response

We are responding to a prior client who not only self registered, but created a profile on our system and signed contracts, stating that no refunds are given. Unfortunately, most of the statements in this accusation are false, and or exasperated. Bullying, threats, harassment, and intimidation tactics will not be tolerated by management from clients.

There is video evidence of this client showing up to one of our trainers homes, where the police needed to be called, due to noise complaints, trespassing, and harassment from the client. There is a police report and case number regarding this. If further harassment continues, we will be forced to take legal actions. Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: I will not say I agree to this response.  I did not trespass on her property.  She had my dog and we needed to pick him up. We did not bully or harass her.  She was the one calling me an entitled princess and daddy's little girl. (Mind you I am in my 40's) This was all because I wanted to pick up MY DOG earlier.  She was hired to bored my dog while I was on vacation and for an extra $25.00 per day would work on some training as well.  I hope other people can see this review on the Better Business Bureau so they think twice before hiring this company.  As far as her calling the police, while I was there I said it was ok to call them.  You have my dog and I'm here to pick him up. We left and I assume she called the police after we left because I have no knowledge of this. I feel no need to continue communication with her.  We aren't going to get anywhere.

      Regards,
