I scheduled a soil test at the home of my deceased parents in ********* PA. I was quoted a price of $550 because I was receiving a discount as a Proguard subscriber. When I was billed by electronic check, they charged me $625. When I questioned them, I was told that there is no way they told me $550 as my copious notes as executor of the estate indicate. Georgia from Ecological said and I quote You should be happy you were charged $625 because if you had spoken to me, it would have been more.

Eco Logic offers two types of testing services: oil tank tightness testing and soil analysis testing.  Both of these tests are offered to Proguard customers, and the choice of the type of ********************** comes at their discretion.  The cost for oil tank tightness testing is $550. The cost for soil analysis testing is $625.  I believe the customer may have booked the more expensive type of test under the idea that it was the lower costing test.  The soil analysis testing comes with a lab analysis which is the reason for the higher cost.  Nonetheless, we do give a lot of information regarding the testing while discussing and scheduling with a customer and it might be fairly easy to write down the cost of one test while assuming he was receiving the other test.  We do believe as an executor this customer probably did write down all notes, but may have just misinterpreted which test was which.  We think in this situation it would be fair to split the cost difference with the customer.  The cost difference of the two tests is $75 making a halfway split $37.50 however, we are willing to return a total of $50 to the customer to help satisfy this misunderstanding and to hopefully help alleviate any additional stress this may have put on the sale of the estate of his parents.
