    Terrible experience with Tenafly pediatrics in *******. My children were discriminated against and refused medical care due to disability. Specifically discriminated against by ********************* and *********************.

    This mother of a patient does not believe in vaccinating their child. We have a vaccination policy where we require that our patients follow the guidance of the **************** of Pediatrics when it comes to vaccines.  We did not refuse care, in fact we let them know we would provide emergency care to their child for 30 days while they look for a physician who allows patients in their practice who do not want vaccines.  

    Our physicians believe that not vaccinating a child puts that child at risk and also puts patients in our practice at risk.  If we have a baby who is too young to be vaccinated in the waiting room, and an unvaccinated child is sitting next to them with diseases like Mumps, Rubella, Tetanus, Diptheria, etc., it puts that infant at risk.  Thus we require our patients to be vaccinated.

    The issue has nothing to do with a disability, it has to do with a choice the mother is making for her child.
