My teenage daughter’s iPhone was stolen and smashed in early September 2024. She desperately went to “The Fix” at *** ******* **** ** #****, *** ****, CA *****.
They apparently told her that if the phone does not turn ON, they would not charge!! The phone did turn ON after repair and she paid $370 from her own little ******* in cash to these people as agreed.
She brought the phone home and found at least the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are not working….
I went to the business and asked them to either finish the repair or refund which they refused both.

I recently had my phone’s battery replaced at this business on or around August 7, 2024. Upon getting my phone back, I noticed a broken pixel with a black spot on the screen that was not there before. Despite my efforts to address this, the staff dismissed my concerns with comments like "don't worry about it." Eventually, they reluctantly repaired the screen they damaged. After the screen and battery replacements, my phone began overheating, and the battery life became significantly worse. The screen also became unresponsive during calls, often going black, severely impacting my ability to use the phone for work. When I returned to them on Friday, they admitted the overheating was due to their faulty screen installation. They replaced the screen again and claimed to perform a diagnostic exam, but the issues worsened.

After three failed repair attempts, I consulted professionals at Geek Squad and Apple. Both advised that my phone was in such poor condition due to the substandard repairs that it was more practical to buy a new phone. Heartbreakingly, I was forced to do so. For context, Apple had advised me not to replace the phone, only the battery, before this company’s involvement. Experts informed me that businesses like this often use inferior, non-genuine Apple parts, which was not disclosed to me prior to installation. They also don't follow standard practices/protocols, which caused further damage to my phone, including but not limited to scratches on internal components. When I requested a refund, they would only comply if I returned "their" screen—despite it being a replacement for the screen they damaged.

I ended up paying $20 more than I would have for repairs through Apple or Geek Squad, reputable companies, and spent multiple days trying to resolve the issues, lost work hours, and endured significant stress. I seek a full refund, compensation for the additional expenses incurred due to buying a new phone, and an apology for the staff's conduct.

I brought my iPhone to the Fix Solutions location at the ******* ****** in Sherman Oaks, CA. I had a cracked screen, and was charged $300 to repair it. Within days the phone was cracked again without any damage or impact done to it. I took it to the store because I believe it was either repaired with a defective part or not repaired properly. I was told that only the owner of the business by the name of Sefa could resolve that issue and asked to call him because he was not available. I tried calling him for two weeks and was told every time that he is either "not there," "busy, "unable"or other excuses. I drove to the store and spoke with a store associate who again refused to resolve the issue. I insisted he calls Sefa with me in store. When Sefa finally agreed to speak with me on his employee's phone, he first questioned that I repaired the phone in his store and when I showed the transaction, he accused me of buying something in the store and not having the phone repaired (which is not the case)...in the end he said he would refund me the entire charge because he won't repair the phone. It's been 2 weeks and he hasn't refunded the $301.13 as promised. It appears that Sefa is running a shady operation, and other consumers need to be aware of that. I'd like to be refunded or get my phone properly repaired.
