Using Critter Control was an absolute disaster. The technicians were not knowledgeable at all and often told untrue facts about raccoons, gestation times, racoon birthing season and when baby raccoons are active and mobile, etc. They installed a one-way door on the entrance that the racoon used but because they did not secure the door correctly, the raccoon was able to get back in and give birth to baby raccoons. The company then charged $399 because raccoon had babies when, if entrance was secured properly, mother would not have gotten back in and had babies in the attic. Next, they tried using scented cotton ***** to drive the mother out. They would come back about every week for several weeks and put more cotton ***** on the attic. This obviously was not working. So, they charged $499 to use a scope camera to try to find the raccoons in the walls. The contract states that if the raccoons are found in an accessible area, they would try to extricate them (not guaranteed). They drilled a bunch of holes in the wall but did not find the raccoons. They kept the $499 though. In all, my father, who is 81 years old, paid the company $2400 in total to remove the raccoon, and clean up. After 9 weeks $2400 was spent nothing had been accomplished. The company called and said we are out of options, theres nothing more we can do. Another company was called and they removed the mom raccoon and her babies in less than 48 hours. There were several things in the contract they were paid for that were not completed such as Ectoparasite Treatment, Sanitizing Treatment, etc. I did ask for a partial refund and they agreed to $658 over the phone but they only refunded $469. Absolutely horrible experience. And we still had raccoons. I do not recommend ******* ** Critter Control.

Hello BBB,.On 4/8/22 Critter Control (*****) did an inspection on my ********* was discussed that something was in the downstairs bathroom vent. Also told that the home needed sealing from all mice, bats, racoons, squirrels etc.. You name it, the salesperson really pushed the sale. I agreed for the work for home & paid in full for immediate service. Note: I am a Senior Citizen & hoped that this was a legitimate business. Unfortunately, I did not get what was promised. I repeatively advised that the critters in the downstairs bathroom vent were still there. I was told that this would be taken care of with the sealing of all vents. Now, the year is up & they asked for warrantly renewal. I advised that I need this problem taken care of as agreed, & now have been told by the Regional Director- ***** that it will be an additional costs.?/ Please review the invoice that I was told would clear my home of all critters..( bats/racoons/mice/red squirrels /wasps etc)..It didn't happen as discussed at the initial Home Inspection. This expected service req. was paid in full in April 2022. Please review the info. below:RAPP2+ comes with a free annual warranty renewal option.
