      I am a commuter that pays a lot of money for their services. They are consistently taking away buses from their already very limited schedule. Now that summer is here they are taking away buses for their commuter line to use for charters leaving their customers stranded and waiting over an hour for a bus to show up. They need to be held accountable to uphold the services they are paid to provide. Calling them does nothing to resolve these issues so in seeking your help in this matter for myself and all the other commuters on this *********** line to route 9.

      On Friday June 23rd 2023 myself and 6 other potential commuters were left behind at the Academy bus terminal in *********** **********. This matter has been an ongoing issue since the pandemic. The ridership has shifted because of remote and hybrid employment however plenty of people still commute from ***********/ *********** to ************* daily. The bus drivers and the dispatchers are extremely rude and seem not to care about the fact that every Friday commuters are inconvenienced because of inadequate service. There needs to be another bus added to the morning commute. It is ridiculous that I have to be late to work after showing up to the terminal in a timely manner only to be told that the bus is full- just wait for the next bus. Today the dispatcher ***** gave me a letter to give to my employer. The gesture was nice but only bandages' the bigger problem. On the back end of the day I will have to rush to catch the last bus at ************** at 6pm. The limited schedule is a huge problem and the employees refer existing customers to use other services such as Greyhound and pay additional money. I have a monthly pass so paying another company to commute to work because Academy bus company continues to fail their riders is not a remedy. I continue to reach out to management to no avail.

      Over the past month since I relocated the Friday commuter bus from ***********, ** to ** has been too full to accommodate the ridership. The service has been cut leaving myself and many others to take other means of transportation to work although I pay $450 for a monthly bus pass. On today in particular I had to wait a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes for a bus to commute to work. I normally take the 5:20 am bus however I will now be extremely late for work as I had to wait with 10 other passengers who were also left behind for the 6:05 am bus. This inconvenience is affecting my work. I set enough time for my commute but can not get basic accommodations to ensure that I am safe and can get to work in a timely manner. The bus company needs to add additional busses and compensate the customers that have been negatively affected by their poor service. When calls were made to the customer ********************** line the dispatcher ***** was rude and nonchalant about the matter. It needs to be addressed.
