Complaint Against Campers Inn for Damaging Travel Trailer During Refrigerator Replacement On Oct 2nd 24 Campers Inn came to pick up my 2022 (new to me) Outback by keystone travel trail to do warranty work for a faulty fridgertor. Campers inn deemed that the whole refrigerator had to be replaced and ordered a new fridge. Usually you have to take the slide off of the trailer to take a fridge in and out. They did it do that Unfortunately, when I received my trailer back, I discovered that the service had resulted in damage to the trailers frame when entering into the trailer. Attached to this complaint are photographs that clearly show the damage done to the frame. This was not present prior to the service, and I believe it was caused by either negligence or improper handling by the technicians at Campers Inn. This damage has not only decreased the value of my trailer but has also compromised its structural integrity. I rely on my trailer for living, and this issue has caused considerable inconvenience and financial concern. I was missed place living in a tent for 3 weeks when they were fixing it Not only did the trailer go in for the fridge but attached also shows text that state the other concerns that went in for warranty work that were already taken care of. Well when the trailer was returned it was not done. I only knew this because I double checked their work. I am requesting that Campers Inn be held accountable for the damage and provide the necessary repairs or compensation to restore my trailer to its original condition.Initial Complaint

On December 2, 2022, I dropped off my coach at Campers Inn in **********, **. This was the dealer where I purchased the coach in May 2022. There was a list of items that were not addressed prior to our purchase that needed to be repaired as well as several others that were discovered during our travels over the summer ***** below). The repairs were scheduled to be completed 12/23. I inquired by phone late in December and was told that they will take a little longer to complete the repairs. I Inquired again in late January and was told they were waiting on new parts since some parts were delivered to them broken. I inquired again in late February and March and I did not receive a response. I was finally able to receive a response in April that the coach was ready for pickup. On April 3rd we drove to the dealer to pick up the coach only to discover that most of the items on the list were not repaired or replaced. Of the items listed below, only the entry step and solar shade were repaired the remaining items were not addressed. As of April 3rd, the coach was in their shop for over 20 weeks. We also noted that the water heater cover for the back bathroom had been replaced with a white cover, apparently damaged while in their shop. I was not informed of the damage and since the coach is not white, it was replaced but never painted. I left Campers Inn with the understanding that they would order the parts that were not fixed and get back to me when they arrived. As I drove home the night shade dropped onto the dash, while I was driving down the highway. My ride had left so I had to continue home with the night shade on the dash. That means they fixed 2 things and broke 2 others.I convinced Campers Inn to send someone to my home to retrieve the coach and bring it back to their repair shop to properly complete the repairs. Since then, I was informed that the driver A/C repair was not their problem and it had to be repaired by Freightliner. I was also told that the oven pilot light needed to be lit by hand since it did not have a piezo igniter in it which contradicts both the owners manual and Tiffin technical support. After their second attempt, 3+ additional weeks to repair our coach, there are still items that need to be addressed. The driver A/C which should have been addressed in the first 20 weeks while they were waiting for parts. Also, the oven which they refuse to acknowledge that it should self-lite as is written in the manual and confirmed by Tiffin technical support. They replaced the heater vent cover with the incorrect parts. They never looked into the static when using cable. And, the night shade fell onto our dash AGAIN while we were driving. We will never bring our coach to Campers Inn of ********** again. They are clearly LAZY and INCOMPETENT. During over 20 weeks at their shop, they made no effort to fix most of the items that needed repair and ultimately, broke as many things that they fixed. During this time they made no effort to take the coach to a local Freightliner to repair the A/C, other dealers have done that for warranty work. They still left me with a need to get the A/C and the oven repaired. Below, the final results of the repairs on each item.Initial list of repairs:Bottom Right Bedroom drawer slide broken (fixed on second visit)Step Cover is not aligned when covering the steps (fixed on second visit but rattles)last cargo compartment door, passenger side, loose on the hinges (fixed on second visit)Loose metal cover in the second driver side pass through compartment (Fixed on second visit)screen door plastic cracked (not fixed Waiting for Part)glue on floor (Fixed on second visit)Bedroom Sliding door keeps coming off of its track (Still a problem)Oven does not light properly (Did not bother to try)Cable was not working - (TV's work with Antenna but there is static when connected to cable) need to show that it is repaired properly (Did not bother to try)panel in bedroom next to the rear bath is loose (Fixed on second try)Solar shade reinstalled (Fixed on first try)Driver area AC does not blow cold air (Did not bother to bring to Freightliner while Waiting for parts)Entry step rusted (Fixed on first try)bulge in the ceiling above the dinette (2nd light) (Did not bother)The shower bar is loose (Did not bother) Add things they Broke during the first 20 weeks:Scratched rear heat vent panel (First 20 weeks replaced but not painted second try replaced with the wrong part)Night shade (First 20 weeks fell on dash within 20 miles, second try fell on dash within 50 miles)
