"Accurate Towing" towed my vehicle out of the ******* parking lot on Route 37 in Toms River, NJ. There is very little signage posted about the parking restrictions except for two signs on either entrances to the parking lot. They are posted next to many other signs, and apparently we are expected to stop, read, and inconvenience all the cars behind us exiting a busy highway to read the "Fine Print." The owner of Accurate Towing, also owns the Parking Lot. So we can get towed at the owner discretion whenever he chooses to because it's his decision? When I first spoke to the towing company on the phone I was told the cost would be "$228." Yet according to the sign, it says Max of $150 for vehicles Light Duty under 6,400 pounds. He one who towed it "Conveniently" called me back and told me $150, after the fact.

My vehicle a 2010 jeep patriot was towed out of my complex where i live AND it was in a visitor parking spot as it was a new car so i didnt have the sticker yet, even though as per my lease/complex parking rules parking in visitor spaces do not need a parking sticker. Anyway my vehicle is a 4WDAWD car meaning it can only be towed on a flatbed. Any person knows this especially if you work with vehicles EVEN more so when you are a reputable towing service!! Accurate towed aka dragged my vehicle out of my own complex, resulting in now my car not working i had to bring it straight to the mechanic shop after getting it from their lot. Because they towed my vehicle the improper way it immediately became undrivable! I had to have it towed out of their lot straight to shop. Have spent over $1000.00 to try to fix my only vehicle and ended up not being fixable now its just sitting here all because of negligence on their part. I am a single mother and that was my only vehicle to get my children to and from school, and now i am in debt and *******. Its very concerning because shouldnt a tow company know something like that is crucial to the vehicle ? I would really appreciate your help in this matter . This happened December 21,2022. It was towed out of ********************* in ******** ** in a visitor parking spot
