  1968 **** Mustang at **** ******* Coast ********************************************* LLC. The 4 hr evaluation of the car that cost $465.00 took 3 days with me continually calling the business. After receiving a verbal report, going to the business & paying for 1/2 the cost - Al wrote me up a semi detailed receipt - I had agreed to have Al do the work - it was to take 2 weeks, well 4 weeks later I had to pressure him to have my car come back to me. Most of the work I had paid for was not done. They do not answer the phone at this establishment & leaving messages got me nowhere. Terrible communication. I even went there during regular business hours to find the business closed. Got the car back and it was not running as good as when I had originally taken it there. The first time I took it out for a drive, it broke down! It was running rich, black smoke coming out of the tail pipes, would not start - was stuck for hours. I had texted Al - never to hear back from him again. I do not recommend this establishment. If this is truly a performance shop that specializes in classis cars, they have no idea what they are doing. My car should have come back to me with all the leaks fixed that were at the top of the engine. But I was told it was leaking at the oil pan which would take 4 weeks to get the part. I can get the part in one day and the oil was leaking from two spots at the top of the engine and not at the oil pan at all. That is work that was paid for and not done for sure. Good luck to anyone brave enough to take their car there! Lastly, my car was kept outside the entire time it was there, it had a water leak in the cabin-interior came back all wet, with one mat missing. Car was never kept locked while sitting for weeks on Rt 37. Presently the car is going to various shops for all the work that was supposedly done by Coast Transmission to verify same. Should as many repairs I as do believe were NOT done to the car-I have no recourse but to move on to the next step. ******* *.

  I am so grateful that I found Al and COAST TRANSMISSION PERFORMANCE, I knew something wasn't right with my 2012 GS Corvette. When I took it to Al, he immediately popped the hood and found several things that weren't right with the steering, body and few other things that needed to be fixed. I just got the car back today and WOW what a difference in the way it runs and handles. I really liked that ** kept in touch with me every step of the way. Thanks CTP for making my car run better than new. I would never go anywhere else to have work done on my car again.
