    On 9/17/23 my car did not start. I called *** and got a jump. I was told at that time my battery is dead. I went to AutoZone at 1230 SBroad St where they also informed me my battery was dead. They stated they did not carry my battery but there was a new AutoZone on SBroad St also I can try. I went to 2735 SBroad St. They stated they had the battery. They got the battery, which was about the same size as my original battery and a tall skinny Black man did our transaction. Another male Hispanic, I believe, came and said he would put the battery in. He got the battery and a cart and went to my car. He took my original battery out and started to install the battery I just purchased from them. After 10 mins he wasnt able to fit the battery in my car. He stated he had to get another one. We went back into the store and the African American gentleman did a refund for the 1st battery, big one, they gave me and I purchased another battery they told me would work, which was smaller in size. Again the hispanic gentleman took the smaller battery and installed into my car. On 11/14/23, my car started having check ignine lights. I went to AutoZone on 1230 SBroad St and they stated I was having mechanical issues and my auto start and shut off started acting up. On 11/15/23 I tried to start my car and it didn't start I called *** and told them it couldn't be my battery because I just brought one and I showed them the paper from AutoZone which ***** *** **** has. *** tried to jump my car but it wouldn't start, they stated my battery was completely dead I had them tow it to ***** *** which I had original made an appointment due to my check igine light issue They disganosed my car and stated my batteries were dead. My Aux battery was drained because I put a battery that doesnt work for my car in the car. The battery AutoZone gave me wasn't giving enough power to the Aux battery for it to work right. On 11/17/23 I picked up my car from ***** *** after they replaced the battery Auto Zone gave me and the Aux battery I came out of pocket almost $800 including tow and want my money back for their lies and dishonesty. The Hispanic manager, woman, tried to deny they put in the battery because their system says 30mins. She tried to deny that store did any damage to my car, but ***** *** stated different. I would like BBB to help so I do not have to take this matter to court. I received my refund for the battery given by AutoZone which was $82 I believe. The damage that I had to pay out of pocket was due to THEIR lies of giving me a battery that didn't even work for my car.
