I had a minor mosquito bite that developed into a small, itchy, reddish, puffy bump over six months. I visited a doctor affiliated with Capital Health, Hamilton, who treated it with medication, resulting in a full recovery. However, he claimed it was a sebaceous cyst and insisted on surgery to remove a potential sac inside, arguing that otherwise, the cyst might return. I found this claim unconvincing and was hesitant about surgery, believing the cyst was never there. The doctor, however, insisted that it would be a minor procedure he used to perform in his clinic in India, taking just 5 to 10 minutes. Unfortunately, he was unable to carry it out in the United States.
The doctor referred me to a surgeon at Capital Health, Hopewell/Pennington for further medical evaluation. The nurse at the surgeon's office photographed the so-called "sebaceous cyst", and the surgeon, unsure about its nature, also recommended surgery to remove the sac inside the cyst. Despite this, I was scheduled for the procedure on August 2, 2024.On the day of the surgery, multiple nurses, including the anesthesiologist, asked me the reason why I was there. I told each of them that it was for the removal of the sebaceous cyst. They asked me to show the exact location of the cyst, which I showed them. The surgery, which started at 7:30 a.m. and ended at 12:30 p.m., was conducted under general anesthesia, contrary to the initial doctor's plan of a brief, local anesthesia procedure. After the surgery, I discovered that the operation site was 6 to 9 inches away from where the cyst was located. For this unwanted surgery, my insurance provider was billed $$52,706 for the surgery and an additional $4,154 charged by 3 Doctors. Totaling $56,860. I sought a second opinion at *** ******** ****** ******* Robbinsville, NJ **** ******* Tel: ###-###-#### where the NP, after examining me, confirmed that the cyst likely never existed and found no reason for operating at a different location.

This is about their location in *************'T GO THERE.I was taken their via an ambulance on May 25th, **************************************************************************** labor. We arrived at about 11:30 in ******. When I arrived they took me to the waiting room where I had to wait roughly an hour and some change to get a room while in a lot of pain. None of the doctors or nurses came to check on me or even to give me updates about when I would be getting a room. Also I heard nurses talking to eachother about patients by name and complaining about them. Getting a room didn't even matter. The doctors and nurses were so cold and nonchalant. The ultrasound tech literally just swiped across my stomach one time then just coldly told me there was nothing there and to change back into my ****** clothes and that I was going to emergency. The nicest thing she said was that they would give me a wheelchair since I was in pain (they did not and I had to walk down to emergency.) There I was finally registered and asked for my name, date of birth, etc. But most importantly what I was allergic to which is Ibuprofen and pollen (not that pollen matters too much). In emergency my nurse barely saw me, had me take multiple urine examples- which she wouldn't use and a vaginal swab that she would just leave on the counter. But worse of all she couldn't remember what I was allergic to and was given me medicines that I didn't know she was giving me. I saw so many doctors that day and not one could give me a clear diagnosis. They forgot things on my discharge papers like the medicine they prescribed me (which they sent to ShopRite after I told them I went to ************************** and then they went and sent the order there and lied and said I could pick it up at either one.) they forgot to add test they performed, and had a completely different diagnosis on them then what the last doctor told me. And finally they still sent me home after I said I was dizzy because "we gave you food."

I was sent by my provider to have an injection **** immediately because he didn't have it on site. So I was suppose to go to hospital to have injections done which should've been a 25 copay at doctors office but because I went to hospital and then sent to ER I was charged $200. I dont feel I should've been charged thaz amount with all the run around I was put through due to miscommunication and lack of organization.
