    I had this gentleman fix a pair of my shoes for $75. The point of the job was to make my shoes slip resistant so I could wear them for my restaurant job. After showing me the options we decided on replacing the tread instead of the entire sole. After finishing the job and trying to wear the shoes at work they were not slip resistant and I fell multiple times that evening. I went back with my complaint and he refused to help since I said yes to the material he provided to do the work. I was basing everything on his 40+ years of experience. He said they don’t slip as tried showing me on his countertop made of wood. This material was set to be slip resistant and would hold up against grease, etc. that was not the case. I now have a pair of shoes that originally cost $180 with an additional 75$ that I cannot use for the purpose I the services he provided
