I contacted **** at Shoreline Tattoo, inquiring if he did tattoo cover *** and attached a photo of my tattoo and described what I wanted the old ugly skull tattoo to cover --- an Irish Celtic Cross. He emailed me back that he would love to do a cover up of the tattoo I sent a photo of him and thought it might be "tricky" .... He said he was confident that he could do it. He said I would have to give him $150 to "secure an appointment" with him. About a week and a half later I visited his shop and told him that I had the $150 in cash per his request. I asked that he give me a receipt for my $150 d list and he says "Oh I don't have a receipt book". I explain that I wasn't confident about giving him my cash if he couldn't at least give me a receipt. I told him that all he needed was a pen and a piece of paper to give me a receipt, irregardless of whether or not he had a receipt book. Begrudgingly, he finally gets a pen and scribbles his signature on an old card he had. He says he is not familiar with Celtic Crosses or Celtic art but I say no problem --- I will email you some Celtic Cross imagery and links to Celtic art sites etc. he says cool, I will draw a sketch of the Celtic Cross tattoo and run it by you via email. Two weeks pass and I emailed him tons of Celtic Cross images and Celtic art but he never responds until the day before the designated appointment day, I emailed him and ask him if he has any sketches that I can look at and his only response is :"Listen Nanyo, I am still working on it."I show up at his shop on at the designated time : Thursday February 13th, 2025 at 12:30 PM. He doesn't have anything drawn for the tattoo as he claimed he would when I gave him the $150 deposit so he reschedules the appt, saying he will be ready with the Celtic Cross drawn on Saturday the 15th. I show up there at Saturday and he still doesn't have the drawing for the tattoo and he doesn't want to do the tatto. I ask him if he can refund the $150 and he says no.
