I'm glad someone else reviewed this company; the public should know how they treat people. I have been an avid user since last winter. I've experienced platform issues pretty much the entire time. I watched a cam outside of a bar in **; the staff gave people walking by alcohol w/o carding, clearly intoxicated females laying on the ground w/male predators picking them up as they stumbled & walked away w/them etc. Since I have morals, I emailed the bar telling them what I saw. Their 1st reply was defensive & rather rude. I emailed again & this time the response was from their manager apologizing. He stated that employees had access to their email. He went on but at that point I was over it & told him to stop contacting me. Well, apparently he contacted EarthCam & lied. Next thing I know my IP was blocked. Over a week's time, I emailed EC multiple times inquiring as to what happened. Also, I called 4 times & was completely ignored. My last call was finally forwarded to ******************* (the IT supervisor) who decided to lecture me as if I was his daughter. I couldn't even speak for the first 7 minutes of the 20+ min call because I had to listen to his rant. When I finally had a chance to speak I told him who I was & was completely transparent about the situation. For some reason, maybe it was to compensate for his lack of ******************** he told me 3 times that he had worked for EC for 23 years...what the h*** does that have to do w/how you are speaking to me? He did finally apologize & unblocked my IP. I even forwarded him the email from the bar owner. Four months later, I believe he has targeted my account by doubling the amount of ads. Because I have repeatedly emailed ********************** of continued site issues (ie. crashes.) The more I request a response, the more I am ignored. I believe as a way to cover up their incompetence and unprofessionalism they blocked my IP address again. This time I emailed the owner; I am waiting for a response. Misogynists.

Not happy. I purchased a unit by clicking on a link from their website that took me to Amazon. When it was time to start one of my time lapse projects, I called their customer service to get the camera activated and ready to go. I needed a solar panel package so I gave them the camera serial number so they knew what camera system I had and what I would need to keep it powered. They told me what I needed and I purchased the unit for $2,000. When it arrived, I packed it up and drove to the job site about an hour away. I hired an electrician to help me set it up. I purchased a telephone pole to mount the camera and solar panel. After installation, the unit was not taking pictures when it was suppose to and I was missing critical parts of the job. My client was not happy. When I called Earth Cam on the issue, they emailed me stating that I needed another solar panel and would ship one out. Not once did they say I would be charged and never sent an invoice. By the time I received it, my client decided to cancel the job because of the instability of the unit. I was very upset that I just lost 2 years of monthly revenue due to earth cams incompetence. Several months later, I received an invoice for the 2nd unit they shipped me. I've repeatedly emailed them stating I'm not paying for it as it was their error. If I would have known the unit needed two solar panel units, I would have charged my client upfront for them. Now I'm getting emails saying they're going to send my account to collections. So not only did I lose my 2 year time lapse job because of their error, they're charging me for a panel that I do not want. I will be happy to send it back to them but I'm not paying for shipping. I've since moved my work to another vendor.
