    This complaint involves an alleged fire, burglary and life safety company. They were supposed to provide my fire and burglary alarm monitoring, and equipment maintenance/repair services. Due to abysmal service and total lack of communication, I informed the company that I was non-renewing their contract, which had an initial 12 month term and was subject to termination with 60 days notice (I gave the 60 days notice). They responded with a baseless invoice saying I need to pay them $1300 to terminate and that the contract lasts to March 2027. This is not true and is consumer fraud.

    As background, my service was transferred to this company by AM Security, my prior servicer. I had 0 input in that transfer. One transferred, I signed the Feb 8, 2024 contract with the 12 month initial term.

    Thereafter, the company demonstrated a lack of technical capability and terrible communication. The technical issues were profound. On one occasion all of my wireless sensors stopped working the day after its technicians were at my property. When the technicians returned to my property, one admitted to me that he had "fat fingered it" and accidentally disconnected them. On another occasion that same technician admitted that he had "crossed a wire" in the Panel. For months I have continued to get numerous errors regarding failures, and the front door sensor continually fails. The "contact" I had been assigned -- Margaret D -- flatly stopped responding to my emails. I repeatedly asked for Peter the manager to call me. Every call to the company’s office, I asked for Peter to please call me back. He never did. I asked the sales team on multiple occasions to quote me new equipment, specifically heat sensors for a furnace room that has none. No one ever called me. Copies of some of the emails memorializing the problems are attached.

    The company will not cooperate. I just want this contract terminated with no further money due.
