I contacted my university about 5 items equaling $292 (59×3+15+100) that were badly damaged (to the point I cannot use them anymore). There was a disgusting black substance on them, plus they were thoroughly shredded, due to the washers or dryers. I contacted the school regarding this issue, and they forwarded it to this company. I got a response back that they couldn't do anything as the items shouldn't have been dried in the dryer. First, that's false, as one of the tags did in fact say it could be tumble dried low and was (the $100 jacket), and as I said, I live in a dorm. I have to wash clothes, but obviously there is no place I can dry items that say to be airdry. So, the next common practice for bras to be dried (the 3×59 cost), is to put them in a lingerie bag and dry them on tumble dry low to no heat in a dryer, which I did and called ******** ****** Corporate to confirm this was the right move because of the severity of the issue in which I got the okay to do. Said bag got shredded beyond compare, and the bras were damaged, some shredded that the cup, others at the hook to put them on. Typically, I wouldn't be upset about this, but this company has a CHRONIC issue of washer and dryer issues at my university in which they either damage items, or don't work period. If I didn't dry my items, they'd gotten moldy because they're in an enclosed space. I refuse to accept they won't compensate me for my damn near $300 of damaged clothes. The last item was a $15 shirt I honestly could care less about, but the bras and the jacket were expensive and relatively new. I sent them all the images, but I can upload them upon request.

I live at * *** ********** ****. I loaded 3 washers this week, put laundry detergent and money in them. Only one of them was working.

I lost money and detergent in these machines. I loaded 240802 and 240804. I put detergent and money in them, and then it said “Error.” I use these machines weekly. The other one, 240803, worked fine. All of these machines were working properly last weekend when I used them.

In the past few years, Ive incurred significant financial losses with this company. My expensive clothes have been repeatedly damaged, and the machines frequently charge without operating. Many residents in my building share the same grievances. Despite promises to refund money by mail, the company consistently fails to do so. Chronic issues with malfunctioning machines, coupled with their unclean and damaged state, further compound the problem. In a recent incident, a $275 pair of diesel jeans was ruined by an oily substance from within the machine, rendering them useless. Numerous tenants have similar stories of the same substance damaging laundry. Despite reporting these issues, building management advises calling the company, yet they permit its continued operation in the building.

I contacted this company to service the washer/dryer at a property in Brooklyn. Fowler service department did not advise of the change in their rates. They do not have an agreement in writing or an email sent to advise of the change in rates as other companies do. They do not have any proof of verbal authorization that new rates were advised. They are refusing to admit this was a mistake on their part and refused to revise the invoice.
